Messy not as though out game plans way more cheating the gun were way too fast . With that said so much more fun than modern paint ball 😂
@somebrains543111 сағат бұрын
You got 8 blind layouts and your schedule the Thursday before the event started. Over a season youd build familiarity with sections of layouts and start piecing together some idea of a plan. The modern game is missing a lot of the freestyle that was mandatory.

The og Ego and the System X NME. Hard to believe this was 20 years ago. NPPL Huntington Beach was by far the best paintball tournament of all time.
@somebrains543114 күн бұрын
I cant remember if it was Friday or Saturday night when I saw them at the System X booth all pissed off about how bad the NME sucked. That event was the one where System X had that big $ deal if you got to the podium using their garbage. All the vendors were hyped back then throwing gear and $ around. There was $ to be made in paintball back then.

Alright, I’ve been seeing this kind of thing posted everywhere and maybe I can shed some light. I grew up watching my Dad play professional paintball, specifically Speedball 10-man pro am in the NPPL. Couple of things to note: -Paintball matches like this are fast paced, meaning speed is king -Paintball guns are semi-auto, 1 trigger pull = 1 ball. Most guys have “double triggers”, and guns for competition are set to 15 balls per second MAX (Most guys who are playing regularly average between 10-13 BPS) -Do the math…. 10 players shooting 10 BPS is up to 100 balls PER SECOND, PER TEAM -If you’re not firing back, you’re an automatic target and will be picked off in seconds. Even just to peek and look, you better be firing. -Paintball hoppers (where you load) can only hold so many balls (150~200). Let’s put it all together. In paintball, you have 20 players slinging up to 200 balls per second, everyone is near firing the entire time EVEN while reloading. Players are actively moving closer and closer up the field attacking and defending, even just to look/peek. This entire sport is hectic. To win a match you have to dodge, follow targets, aim, shoot, move AND reload WHILE shooting faster than the other team. Not to mention, you’re yelling as loud as you can to communicate with your teammates. All that being said, good luck not spilling your balls from time to time. Even if you do, something in your hopper is better than nothing. Hope this helps!

Ok so IDK how this happened, but this comment ^^^^ was supposed to go onto a different video I was watching… One where the poster/commenters clowned players for spilling some of their paint while reloading mid match.

We were in the same division as Justice, we played each other maybe 3-4 times in a 2 season span (I think, it was so long ago now), only managed 1 win and rest we lost (I will say, most games were close). They did smoke us off the field the 1st time we met (maybe it was the NJ event?). After that, we knew they were serious. Our game was to load up on guns off break to get a 1-2 quick and force them into a defensive game within the 1st 30 seconds. They were a extremely hard to deal with once they gained a offensive advantage due to their high pressure and playing as a team extremely well.
