Can you put a two speed on this platform @ primalrc? I’m gonna do the same set up, but I wanna play too speed because of the amount of power is 35 cc from Taylor.

A two speed can fit. It may require using wheel extenders to space the rear wheels apart because the tires are already close to the spur gear. We recommend everyone enjoy the vehicle out of the box first before upgrading. The Challenger is very powerful and easily spins the tires with stock gearing.

In this video we put a high speed gear set in to give the car more top end for the speed run. With stock gearing it very easily spins the tires.

I would love one of these. Have you thought of doing a roll cage mod? I think that would look great and be functional.

A roll cage was considered but the body is 2mm thick lexan. It is very strong and even in a solid roll over does not crack the body. If we had used the front body screws, the body would not have come off at high speed.

We design everything in house and have manufactures we work with overseas. Every vehicle is also inspected before shipping to the customers. We also offer the pro build service for monster trucks where a technician will professionally assemble and break in the engine for you.

Primal RC you guys are single handedly keep large scales gas RC’S alive with all this wonderful engineering and handling along with beautiful bodies! This is my dream RC. Hitting very high speeds while looking and sounding cool. Keep up the good work and good to know that they are durable! A spark plug protector/cage over the engine would be good to prevent the plug from breaking in the future. But still very durable!

Sounds good, only thing is they are Rovan…they’ve been capitalizing from other RC models for years and using that stolen money to finance Primal. They have hurt the hobby more than built it up…. Charging MCD prices for the same cheap Chinese aluminum on their kits. I’ve own the Raminator and the dragster which both use poor quality materials.

All our vehicles are 2 stroke powered and use regular pump gas mixed with 2 stroke oil at a 25:1 ratio
