Very cool miniature replica. I'm surprised no one thought to build a life size replica with lights, sound, and maybe using a laser pointer for the targeting system. I would totally pay to see that.

Me too. I love this film, one of my favorite ever. I'm sorry, I don't think I can build another one. I used some old stuff, matherials and surplus I found in my parent's house during the first covid pandemic. In this period I had a lot of free time. Furthermore these matherials are not available anymore...

Thank you very much! I did my best to make my model as similar as possible to the original prop. But it was not easy at all, there is no reference or detailed photos anywhere. I only used the frames seen on the film. Thank you again for your appreciation

About one month of work. I used various matherials, old stuff and surplus I found in my parent's house. I only bought two lasers and the heatsinks. The proportions and elements are not identical to the real machine, but I had no idea about measures. I only used some images of the film.
