You need to put in lowest position. Remove seat, remove cover behind back wheel, loosen right saddle bag. You can now access the pump. Remove pump from bike, mark tube location with magic marker. Remove hose, take small screw driver, insert in whole where hose was. Push down. Add fork oil to pump till full. Replace hose, re attach to bike. Try now. Hose expands, takes more oil. Already done my 2006. Works better now.

Hi John - thanks for the really useful review. I have just got an SE 8 inch version with dongle, alignment with the app as you say driving me mad! Considering sending it back for the evolution model. On the evolution can you simply loosen the clutches and point the scope manually to get close to alignment and then finally tweak with the buttons? Also I noticed a huge amount of backlash in the altitude adjustment on the SE - changing directions results in several seconds of motor whirring before the scope starts to move - is this any better on the evolution?
@johnk123451002 ай бұрын
@@lordlucan529 so sorry I just saw this, absolutely you can loosen locks and adjust manually for better alignment and faster, yes on the other version there was huge amount of backlash that I do not experience with the evolution

I just got the same helmet and it took me a minute to figure out how the vent on the top worked. Air is supposed to just go straight through that channel but if you flip the switch backward it unplugs two slots so that the wind going across them will pull hot air out. They're really hard to see but if you shine a flashlight in there while flipping the switch back and forth you'll see what I mean. About the noise, it doesn't seem to matter if the chin curtain is in there. It's a very noisy helmet. I don't notice a ton of wind noise but, like you said, you can hear noise from other vehicles very easily. And, my own exhaust sounds much louder to me. One thing I noticed on mine that I didn't hear you talk about on yours is that the sun shade doesn't seem to want to lock in the up position. It keeps falling down when I hit a bump.
@johnk123451005 ай бұрын
@@DarksideSleemo good feedback on all, mine does lock in place as far as the sun shade goes. If you just got it and it's happening to you, may want to send it back. If you can put up with a loudness that is lol. Thanks for watching
@DarksideSleemo5 ай бұрын
@@johnk12345100 I ended up figuring out what was wrong with mine last night because I got curious after leaving my comment. It looks like they installed one of the tracks for the sun visor improperly which made it so that the cable couldn't actuate fully and the slide couldn't reach the detent for the up position. I can't really get to it without ungluing the pads from the shell itself but I was able to heat up a bottle opener and press a new detent into the plastic track so that it catches in the up position. Works perfectly now and I have no complaints.

@kennethsouthard60426 ай бұрын
I would say that if there is a big difference in wear between the left and right front, that you may have some issue that is causing you to have more hydraulic pressure on one side vs. the other. I would go through the whole fluid replace and bleed sequence to see if that solves the problem. I have used an an old highly worn pad against the rotor to protect it and a medium sized pry bar to push the pistons vs. wedging a screwdriver directly between the rotor and the pistons. Go in up there and feel that all three pistons are in. Once that occurs, you are golden. The angled turn of the prybar seems to help in this.
@johnk123451006 ай бұрын
I bled my brakes about 6 months ago, I still haven't replaced my right side and it looks like my side that I replaced, is worn down about a quarter way through, not sure if I'm getting equal or pressure or not but I would guess left is still applying more pressure to the rotor than the right.
@kennethsouthard60426 ай бұрын
@@johnk12345100I doubt this would make a difference but on my bike I found out the previous owner had the front pads in backwards to where the shim was to the outside pad, not the inside as it should be.

@johnk123451006 ай бұрын
Yeah so mine was happening mostly when I went from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd and I believe that it was caused by me soft downshifting in the bite not fully in gear and then popping the clutch and being out of gear a little bit I think I broke the forks I think they're called it could be what's going on with yours too only at a different gear, sometimes that's hard to recreate or notice when you're doing a test ride unfortunately. These are great bikes but if you have someone that did the soft downshift in bent or broke the fork then that's a pretty hefty fee unfortunately to get repaired. Advice sell it and get something with very low miles or brand new so you can take care of it from the beginning

@CatfishLove7 ай бұрын
WEIGHT TO HORSEPOWER RATIO KILLS SPEED. YOU COULD GET MORE TOP END SPEED WITH A 90 HP AND LIFTING STRAKES. Pontoon boats have to much weight in the rear of boat. Fuel battery and motor plus furniture puts toons too deep in water creating a drag. Tritoon would be best for that size engine. Lifting strakes will give you another 10 mph.

@johnk123451007 ай бұрын
It takes a while for that battery to charge I would leave it on there for a good 8 hours. Specially if it's very low. To go into Full Throttle mode all you do is just turn the throttle there is no mode you have to put it in, but you do have to make sure that you have a power assist picked out, that's the one through five or six depending on what your default is that should be on the screen when you take off, so your screen should have a like five on it to start off with just to test full throttle mode, you adjust that with a minus and plus buttons
