That's a good question. This monitor does not have a built-in speakers, and all monitors that have built-in speakers are tiny, so I never recommend them. This Dell Alienware Monitor though has an eARC HDMI 2.1 port that you can hook up your eARC compatible Speakers.

Don’t need DP 2.1 that’s needed for over 4k resolution 8k
@lcadigitalmedia2 күн бұрын
good point! but the argument to that is DP 1.4 uses DSC while it's not needed in DP 2.1; likely won't see a big difference but having extra room for bandwith is better in theory; but alas, we don't really have a real world application for DP 2.1 for now, maybe in 2 yrs time.

Good Question, I'm using these with 2 other 4K monitors! LOL this is still 4K, not ultra wide, just a 32" instead of the common 27"; you may be able to get a little bit of real estate since everything looks bigger, you can decrease the font size (on windows) from 150% - 125% or even 100% if you fancy it.

Hey, so it has the "Music" EQ Setting for that but it still depends on the audio source you're playing, like if playing on a low quality KZbin music video, it may only play from the front due to the source, but you can also enable the VRT:X effect to emulate it to 5.1. But to answer your question, yes, it does have it, sort of.

This is so frustrating! I just bought the UH25 MAX for the extra HDMI port to run another monitor. Some of the UH25 MAX units have USB C ports on the back labeled "Computer Host 1" and "Computer Host 2" but mine are labeled "Computer" and "5 volt power." I have it plugged into a 60 watt USB C power brick. Everything works except for the HDMI port in the Quiizlab. I saw in another youtube video someone mentioned the HDMI port on the Quiizlab won't work unless you have both USB C ports on the back plugged into your computer. I can find no mention of this on the Amazon product page where I purchased this and no mention of this in the documentation. I'm back to using my ACME HDMI dongle.

@ULTRA78626 ай бұрын
As others have said, you first need to EQ the gain to fairly compare different mic's. Without doing so, any such results are not really worth anything because you have failed to establish any fixed baseline. If you check other well known pro-audio YT channels that do mic tests, this is something which they would never miss doing.
@lcadigitalmedia6 ай бұрын
Hey, Thanks for the feedback. I was initially planning on doing that but I wanted to do comparison on how they output out of the box, which I purposely did not apply any EQ on that portion of the video. My goal wasn't to get the best tweak of both mics but how they (each) sound out of the box without any EQ or external processing.

hmmm.. That is weird, I haven't experienced that on my end. It's basically hooked up on my mac mini 24/7 and I never turned the mac mini off when I was frequently using it. Have you tried checking if the SSD is well secured and doesn't move? Also, have you tried other USB cables for both data and power, and maybe use as 20W block instead of 60W?
@davidanderson23056 ай бұрын
@@lcadigitalmedia I have two of these hubs and they both do the same thin. I've even gone into Terminal mode to change the disksleep time to max. And it still does the same. Why use a lower power block> Both of my cuuent blacks are hard wired and therefore no usb cords.
@lcadigitalmedia6 ай бұрын
@@davidanderson2305you may have to check with Qwiizlab's support on that issue. It was a suggestion to check and troubleshoot by eliminating the possibility that your power adapters might have an issue. Also, it may not make a big difference but trying out the same wattage the hub is designed for to confirm where the problem is could help you narrow it down. Troubleshooting is about finding where the issue is, so you have an educated (possible) solution instead of finding a solution straight on.
