This is really their song. As much as i wanted them to be together, the ending was a perfect one. You could never make me hate it. It was unfair but beautiful, i mean that's just life and realistic. Not something we could ever control. I love this movie. Would watch it again 100%

what i hate about this is the the fact she waited for him for how many years. waiting for his response without knowing that he's already dead that time. she thought he left her for good but the truth is he really loved her. He never met the 21st century version of Bora because he died on 2001 (that's why the movie called the 20th century girl). All those years she thought the guy ghosted her and that year (2001) he supposed to go back to Korea to meet his girl again
