Trossard is nothing more than average when he starts and a super impactful sub only sometimes. Martinelli doesn't give enough output, although fair dues hes slowy adding more again. Saka and odegaard are the only ones that give real consitency, and odegaard been out for so long. Kai is spread too thinly playing everywhere except in the box for 75% of games. Jesus looks pissed off each time he comes on (although thats partly his hang-dog expression eyebrows).

Nobody is mentioned that we are playing a different formation with Odegaard. When ode was injured Arteta had us playing 4-4-2. He didn't play the regular 4-2-3-1 . This makes a massive in our attacking and creativity.

Merino and Rice have no Chemistry. Rice works best with Jorginho and its clearly obvious that's because Rice can't play 6 in the way Mikel see's a 'Classic 6'. Partey, Merino and Odegaard all come from the school of Spanish football and this is how Mikel wants the team to play

Big fan of you guys. But respectfully, we should not have a system so reliant on Odegaard. We should be able to win in multiple ways. Without a no.9 (which Arteta has not bought since his tenure began) Arsenal have become a huff and puff team unable to win playing badly and score against the run of play. Arsenal has the smallest squad, it is not the youngest squad anymore and Arteta's utilisation of subs has been woeful (not utilising all 5 subs often enough, making very late subs, etc)

Its our mentality and injury prone players make winning the league unlikely. We don't need to monster everyone we need to play with crisp sharp rhythmic passing that is precise and concise with intelligent runs that then get found not ignored to pass back or just fluffed. I think how much our game against Chelsea is a must win will depend on the Saturday games. A City team which has lost 3 in a row could drop points away to Brighton. Liverpool could drop points against Villa who although inconsistent are still 6th in the league. If we then also drop points in another tough game, at least its not too damaging, and we can focus on getting our guys back healthy and going on a run in our more winnable games. But if City and Liverpool both win, our game is absolutely a must win, otherwise we'll probably be too far behind even if we do put together an amazing run.

I would rather start Odegaard then bring him on 2nd half. Best chance to win is by taking the lead and then take him off, try to sit deep and counter. If he comes on when we're losing he'll get swamped centrally and bullied off the ball like we have seen even when he's fit.

I'll take a point right now. Chelsea look a serious team again, while we look average off the ball and poor on it. Hard to see us keeping a clean sheet and we don't look like we can score many.

Trossard cannot play in midfield, his body, his technique his runs he isnt a CM. He is our most effective LW who we are punishing because he feels as if he can play CM. He naturally ball watches which is why he doesnt win duels but is also able to sneak in and score a goal. He doesnt scan before he receives the ball. Either play him LW or bench him and play someone else including Jorginho

We need an aggressive winger like Kudus, and another creative midfielder, I'd be looking at De Jong, and I'd be sneaky and try go for Zubimendi as well

Mikel is obsessed with dropping Havertz into the midfield. It's never worked, but he continues to do it. We're wipping cross after cross into the box, but Havertz isn't there half the time. Remember, last year we had a lot of last minute winners. We had a alot of goals in short period of time that inflated our goal difference. These results have been coming for a long time, and its mainly due to Mikels tactics. Regarding the game, don't be fooled. Inter let us have possession. They were more than happy to sit back and easily defend our 100 crosses into the box. It all comes down to the recruitment and squad building. Mikel seems allergic to signing attacking players. We left ourselves short with no replacements for the front 3. That's on Mikel. The squad building has been horrendous. 800 million spent and we still have no good attackers to bring off the bench.

There are lot of contexts in our dropped points. But there are only finite number of points, despite fantastic 6 months the consensus in may was we lost the league in December. These bad crutches keep on happening under Arteta which eventually costs us despite best effort to claw back
