Yep. The women that gave birth to me, falsely accused my brothers, father and i of r-word (along with some other things i wont mention) then admitted directly to the judge that it was all lies and the judge just let her go because "she will live with the guilt knowing that she lied".

My husband left after 34 years. I justvtalked with an attorney and he said if he hot a million in the bank by simeine thats different. Even than where we didbt have property ( only old motorcylces he sold) i coukd only get alimony off the interest as income. A house given to him is an asset so nothing. It shoukd be criminal but i took the mindset, ill do it myself and cut all ties off.

You don’t need an attorney to do a divorce, you can do it yourself in most States. In Texas, you just have to buy the book “how to get a divorce in Texas”, all the forms are in it, with instructions. Also, especially if you have a VA mortgage, never move out of that home, you are responsible to pay the mortgage back.

#2 about filing first really isn't true in most No Fault and 50/50 states. My lawyer is the opposite, he preferred that my wife files first so we can see her demands and can play defense. I think this is the best strategy in Missouri - which is a no fault state.

I've been divorced now for about a year; it's been the most difficult thing I've ever experienced. I'm 40 years old, and I've lost my home, reputation, and my sanity. Worse, my ex-wife was the one who had the affair, and I cannot believe I'm still paying her alimony. The system is against men, and it is so corrupt.

Everything you said is what he’s doing to me: he wants to kick me out of the house, make me homeless: and he gave me divorce papers blindside of me. despite the fact that he was emotionally verbally and financially abusing me for 24 years. Now I have to refinance and buy him out and he doesn’t care about our adult autistic children. He kept my income tax check, mismanaged my inheritance and now he wants to be greedy with his money. I won’t be able to for the second mortgage, but God will help me. I need to get away from him because the gaslighting is out of control -even gaslight with his demeanor and behavior. he bit the hand that feeds him.

Guaranteed he makes more money than you..... probably a LOT more. That's why you stay with a man that "financially abuses" (LOL) you. I bet he cares more about the bills being paid and his credit rating than he does about closets full of shoes and purses and "outfits". You could leave any time you want, taking with you only what you contributed.

My wife took a picture of me napping. Told court I was drunk. I was not. They immediately asked me to leave my house, and have no contact with my 9yo daughter. My wife called the school and removed her from school asking them not to tell me as it was my day to pick her up. If I did this the school would think I was attempting kindnap. Men-stay focused, never give up, and always fight for your kids with love and respect. You’ll win the race in the end!

Back in the 1970s in the days before social media I arrived home from work one evening and my wife with our 2 kids had gone. I discovered she went to her parents home. She absolutely refused contact with me and within 7 days I received a lawyers letter she had filed for divorce meaning my wife must have secretly filed for divorce before she left me. I was 29 years old and never had a clue about lawyers. I ended up hiring 3 different lawyers and each one told me I`m screwed. In the end I decided to defend myself. It transpired she did have a secret boyfriend that I discovered after the divorce was finalised, I was ordered out the house and stung paying child support. Not so cut and dry as this guy is saying in the video.

The goal is reunification if possible. I'm a Visitation Coordinator & the parents, most times, has no control over the rules. It depends on the county & state regulations. Also, it depends on the services required of the parents to comply with. More often than not, it depends on the allegations for the children to be removed from the parents. Most parents are appointed a public lawyer that agrees with the judge's orders.

@@Fit_soldier 😂 idk if this is a joke or not. But on the off chance it isn't -- Disclaimer: not legal advice. File for divorce first. Don't let her be the first one to file. Rack up compelling evidence of how she engaged in devastating marital misconduct. It may not get rid of alimony, but it could sway the amount. If you are married abroad and never lived in the US, file for divorce abroad - generally much better terms there - then file the divorce decree with the local court in your state of residence.

To your #1 moving out: I didn’t want to move out and leave behind my kids, it was easy for her to have removed by filing a restraining order by only saying that she’s afraid of me. Then she just kept renewing them year after year, after she saw how easy it was to lie and win, she started adding new lies to block my visitations, I was completely bankrupted for having to go to court at least once a month every time for some new accusation. The mistake I made was that I met a nicer, prettier, high class, well to do woman and she got jealous even though she was the one filing for divorce. I was unable to marry my new girlfriend because she threatened us to go after us both. I had to wait until the girls finished college to get remarried again(we lived in MA, child support lasts until kids finish college). I agree with the comment below: don’t get married is the best solution, I understand you earn livings from divorces, so that’s not something you’ll be recommending.

In my mind, #2 on the list is the most important, presuming of course one was silly enough to get married in the first place. (USA) The 2nd one is most important is because when you file first you are the Plaintiff and the soon-to-be-ex is the Defendant. An important although subtle advantage. It puts you in the driver's seat, legally and psychologically. Divorce in the USA has become psychological warfare. Why weren't attorneys telling men this 30 years ago? We already know the answer to that question.
