I knew your brother Rande when I was stationed at Ramstein, He worked in the weather shop and I worked next door in Base Ops. I even talked to him shortly before he left when he came over to use our microwave in our shop. I also briefed the flight crew that night when they had to change their flight plan to head up to Frankfurt Rhein Main AB for some issues. I liked your brother, he was a good guy and I felt so sad and horrible as I knew he just had a child. I still have the cigar he gave me to this day. I appreciate and honor his service.

@@JAFZX1207 Thank you for posting this. My husband and I are his son Ryan’s godparents and he lives here in our city now. We were just discussing him this morning as he had a kidney transplant when he was about 21. Ryan was 6 months old when the accident happened and has no memory of his father but is very much like him. Rande volunteered for the mission as he felt it was a good career move being a new Dad. He was so excited to ride that plane and excited about the mission. Your post means a lot as I know he’s still looking after Ryan and I really needed to hear this today. 🙏❤️❤️

May your brother and the rest of the souls on board that perished that day rest in peace. Although that field has some over ground brush, the crash site has been kept clear and a plaque was placed there to remember the fallen. I used to see the open field on departure and remember them.

Do you not drain the tank? Why do you turn the electricity on, shouldn't this be off for winterisation?
@DIY-This
@DIY-This 9 ай бұрын
No, that's the whole idea behind his unconventional winterization method. You keep water in the tanks and thus the RV is ready to use at anytime. With the conventional method, the water is drained and valves to the Suburban tank are isolated and you are limited to the RV use. I rather spend some money on the electrical bill for the tank heating element and small 100watt space heaters, but I have full use of my motorhome at anytime and in a moments notice. I live in the VERY COLD Northeast and have being doing this method for the past 10 years with no frozen pipe or any other issues. Checkout my other videos on this subject to get a clearer view of my unconventional winterization method. Thank you and drive safe.

Nice video, very concise. However, I would have changed the preliminaries. Such as spark plugs cable been 1,2,3, and 4 cause you are dealing with 2 coils and they are numbers 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 for cylinders they can't be mixed on coils.

I understand that you may be disappointed, but I understood that the garage was not intended to keep the mower dry. As I read in different discriptions on the internet, the garage is intended to keep the mower out of direct sunlight. The mower will indeed start its job and mow in the rain, where its rain function will tell it to stop and not make a mess of the lawn. Not mowing the lawn in the rain is not bad for the mower, it might just get dirty, but the grass could be messed up. So I understand your issue, but I don't think of it as an issue. Happy mowing.

If Captain Gilbert had been on the right runway,this wouldn't have happened. Plain and simple!
@charlesjwin
@charlesjwin Жыл бұрын
If the Captain had known that the visibility reports were false, that the Gov't switched between using each runway's lights (a cover-up was later discovered & ATC transcript quotes redacted) and that Mexican construction crews were dangerously alternating work on & off the runway (a different plane was on the same runway 18 minutes prior) then the crash wouldn't have happened. Also, the U.S. Gov't would have also pushed harder to exonerate the Flight Crew, had Prez Carter not already put their oil sale deal with Mexico in jeopardy. The U.S. swept it under "the rug" once American attention was captured by Iran's taking of Western hostages.

I sure as heck am not going to belive white American officials, let alone white media especially from back then. As I mentioned before I listened to the original radio broadcast between the Amerincan pilot who went screaming to his death and the Mexican air traffic controllers decades earliar, and the American pilot was being extreamly rude and talking to the Mexican air traffic controllers in a very condesending tone, after I herd that broadcast decades earlier I knew it was the pilots fault for not engaging the air traffic controllers in a proper manner then becoming confused not paying attention to his landing! I specifically remember hearing that chilling broadcast decades ago, about 40 years ago and I specifically remember that pilot talking to those air traffic controllers like SHIT! You can even hear him saying in this broadcast something to the effect of God Damm Left or another! So why was that early broadcast not herd in this video? To cover it up Im guessing by white government officials. I was recently watching a remake episode on ID, a murder mystery program on cable TV, in where a white woman was kidnapped, and her husband murdered by a black man. Decades earliar in that initially broadcast of that same episode they spoke about a rape kit test that had been performed and it was discovered that the woman while being raped she was actually cuming or climaxing with her rapist! Well I just seen a remake of that exact episode and no where dose it mention that she was actually cumming or climaxing with her abductor! Ofcourse that info might have been left out so as not to embarass the woman, but it could also be conscrewed that she actually didnt give a damm about her husband ! Who knows ? But dose leaving that info out justified? I dont think so! If there going to pick and chose what they leave out, one cant make a sound decision ! Ofcourse these are 2 entirely diffrent situations, but I know before God that that pilot was talking to those Mexican in an extrwamly bad way, and in my opinion its what led to his not concentrating on his approach, not to mention all the other factors that contributed to their dimise. If the pilot was so familiar with the airport why didnt he know the diffrence between runway 23 left and runway 23 right? I was ready to give up the ship, and just call it even, and write not to belive either side, but I cant! Givin the fact that I already herd the initial broadcast between the pilot and the Mexican air traffic controllers decades earlier, so I cannot change my mind, that pilot was at fault! And I feel for those peolpe who lost their lives, and the Mexican officials for having to put up with false accusations, I dont know what fault the Mexican airport people had if any, but the pilot certainly had a major role, if not all the fault for what happened.

Thank you for your service! I have been to over 50 air shows some as a spectator and some as a participant. Accidents will happen, aircrew are human.
