Nice explanation of the magnetic principle. A little theoretic question: When a 1,60 woman faces a 2,00m male attacker, what would you suppose defines the magnetic zone: his or her reach? In other words: When is her moment to attack- when she can hit him or when he can hit her (which is earlier due to his longer arms)?

I understand its high level but this requires too much mastery. Simpler universal moves will be better for defense. I prefer small circular double blocks where you dint have to be accurate just cover the area. In not saying its worthless. Its genius but in a real raw unrefined fight the order breaks down and all it takes is one mistake one opening not covered. I like movements where the same movement defends A and B and C is prevented by positioning. I like double strikes because they are harder to block and you can hide your head inside the arms like an egg covering. Not disrespecting wing chun just my preference based on my understanding and experiences.

Some of my friends in my Wing Chun class were Wrestlers one guy did Hapkido and my teacher had done Jujitsu before learning Wing Chun. I met some amateur Boxers in Technical School.
