Rule of odds are really a game changer .. awesome set the last one also had a group of complimentary colors and which was awesome as well no identity to which the three individuals was..I really liked the Cuba one also... color is hard but pays off..have a bless day breda

Bless bredda. Appreciate the kind words. Combining elements like odd numbers and use of colour can lead to good results! The last one definitely worked as well because of the complimentary primary colours - that's what first drew my eye when I saw that scene irl.

Just a note; while in the snap mode, everything beyond 1m is not in focus when you select 1m. The depth is determined by aperture again. So it's like the zone focusing technique but in digital. I'm sure you're aware but had to let know for new gr users or admirers... great photos, great video. peace!

@trinitek
@trinitek 2 ай бұрын
Hey thanks! Glad you got something out of the video. I don't really use any filters for my GR, other than the built in ND when it's sunny - if that's what you meant. In terms of film simulations, I usually stick with the positive film option!

People talk about the great image quality, mine looks worse than an iPhone
@trinitek
@trinitek 2 ай бұрын
I didn't really appreciate the image quality out of the GR iii until I looked at it on a proper monitor/laptop. Smart phones are still nowhere near what these can do. And that's part of the beauty of the GR, it takes an experienced eye to appreciate the IQ sometimes.

@trinitek
@trinitek 3 ай бұрын
Yeah. U can use the electronic shutter and there won't be much of any sound. The reason I don't usually use that is because it can lead to odd things like banding in lights at certain shutter speeds. Also, it's just satisfying to hear and feel that shutter click!

Lovely review, thanks! I've had similar battery issues with mine, sometimes the camera would just switch off. Putting a small piece of paper on the top of the battery fixed that for me. It pushes the battery more firmly into the compartment and makes the connections better. Hoping that might work for you!

You said you been shooting for years. Have you seen the canon rebel T7 ? Do you think that’s small enough camera for street photography
@trinitek
@trinitek 4 ай бұрын
I think the rebel with a small prime lens like a 35mm (fifty mm equivalent) would work for street. I used to shoot street with a Nikon 3100 DSLR with a prime lens, and it was discreet enough. If you can afford it though, I would recommend getting a mirrorless, maybe used? Reason being mirrorless are the standard now, they tend to be smaller than even the rebel DSLRs, and you can use the back LCD to help compose your shot, which can also help with being discreet.✌🏾

@trinitek Yes, I thought about that but it's gonna be expensive I would. Sure the 40mp and IBIS would be great but I already have a Z5 and with my 28mm 2.8 on it or me getting the 26mm 2.8 to make it even slimmer, I can't me myself dropping that when I could just wait and upgrade my z5 to the z6 iii. If you didn't sell me on this I was 🤏🏽 close to grabbing the Canon GX1 Mii for my upcoming trip!
