I have said this a billion times, a Fat person can lose weight, it's possible, it's thermodynamics, it's physics - There may be many reasons why people are overweight (my self included), but it is possible to lose wieght. If you are under 6'' ( by the way you may need to look at the % and also the BS of "good gene") there is nothing you can do about it - so I think it is 100% fair for a man (or a woman!) to say No if the person weights more than 150 lbs
