I have NHS hearing aids, Phonak! The downside of the ear pieces were made from Silicone which started to irritate my ears as they are a very snug fit! Because of soreness I had to fit different ear pieces on the tubes! Now I have no problems any more!

Wow, Would I ever like this type of opportunity! I started noticing problems with my hearing around age 30 and got my first set of hearing aides at 35. It has been a continuous struggle and now I am 73. After 3 sets of aides over the years and retiring from a nursing job at 60 I am 72now with little clarity in hearing, very isolated, frustrated, lonely and depressed and ready to just give up and very tired every day trying to struggle to understand people. I moved and went to an ENT that sent me to a university hospital to be evaluated for a cochlear implant. I qualified and even tho I am scared to death😮 I am on my way. It will be in November this year. I am full of hope again so I am constantly scouring the internet and u tube for info on everything that has to do with hearing, CI etc. Thank you so much for this presentation! I would love to find such a program here in Michigan. I am thankful for the testimony of these sweet ladies and wish them happy and productive futures.❤❤🎉Linda

This was a great video, thank you! I recently heard a similarly inspiring story by a former professor with hearing loss about his experience -- I think others might find it interesting: bit.ly/RonaldClaytonAudicus

I am so sorry that the implants did not seem to be the solution for you and I pray that you do not give up like I have almost done several times. God understands it all. If you area Christian lady and believe in your heart that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us all and cover our sins all of us have and accept Him into your heart as Savior , you will hear again and be completely healed when He comes to take us all home in the rapture and He is coming soon!
