Supposed to be a secret underground cellar at the Globe Hotel Pub where I work,I go down there and have a look at more old 16th century history,Also take some photos of it,Still working there as well

I visit spoons allover,why do drink prices differ, eg. Merthyr and aberdare, £1.99,ponty,£2.10,bridgend £2.39??????

@CarlBailey-z1w thanks for your message. I'm not 100% why they vary across the pubs but I think it might be to do with some pubs being more busy than others therefore not needing to lower their prices. Hope this helps. Thanks for getting in contact.

April 2024, a visit from the he North East, popped into this pub,. Amazing place for a meal, menu is second to none, choose ce and quality amazing, the staff are friendly, to veley evenings, definately I commend, great history .

A very big pub. I used to go there when meeting up with one of my friends who lived in North London. We've both moved away now. 'spoons have sold the Coronet and it remains to be seen if it'll stay a pub.

Any one know if the Globe Hotel is Haunted,Some of my work mates where telling me its known to be haunted,Not seen nothing online about it,It is a 16th Century building,Im still working there,Not seen any Ghosts yet

The Building been up for quite a lot of centarys,Recording to Google answers,Globe Hotel in kings lynn year built was in the year 1650,Thats going back years,Way before my time,Way before every one elses time as well,Thats going back more than stone age,Also lot of them building around the Tuesday Market place also been up quite a long time as well,Im starting my training there today at the Globe Hotel,Be dressed up a little bit posh for my new Job

Yes it is a super ancient building and the amazing thing is you get to work in it! All those years of history and people that have come and gone, people's storys, incidents, memories etc. Anyhow wishing you really well with your first day there! @@VisitingeveryWetherspoon Yes I quite enjoyed working there,Back there again tomorrow morning at 1am,Good fun working nights,I get to have a nice lay in bed in the Mornings,Not long woken up,Yarn,It also well worth it having English Breakfast at the Globe Hotel all free of charge,Thats bonus on top of our wages as well

Funny but when it opened I was the first customer to go in and the then Betty Walsh The Mayor of Brighton and Hove walked in after me .Its ok we new each other I only had two tickets one for me and one for Betty

Is there an actual challenge, Wetherspoons should make it a competition and put a QR code in each pub so that customers can scan when visiting to identify which pubs you have visited. Maybe all of them on a map so you can see where you have visited and which pubs you haven't yet. What do you think @Wetherspoons, #Wetherspoons

Hey thanks for your comment. While it's not an official challenge set by Wetherspoons, other enthusiasts like me, have and are in the process of visiting them all. I think a QR code at every pub would be a great idea GrimRipa1. Alas, I don't work for Wetherspoon so would not be able to implement this. Have you seen in the Wetherspoon App that you can click on a pub, then click on the + symbol which then ticks the pub on the map that you have visited the pub? It also shows how many pubs you have visited.

Stay there every year for two weeks. Travel from the states. Will be back this February. Love the prawns, the British lasagna, the bacon breakfast sandwich and the pizza.
