Good idea, but it doesn’t work as well as it looks. I tried it with zip ties and they just kept sliding. They don’t hold it in place very well at all. Gorilla glue didn’t work. Going to get some hot glue sticks next and try that.

Excellent video! Your explanation and demonstration of how to make this butterfly are so clear and very ready to understand. Now, I'm off to the store to purchase some hangers to get started! They will look so cool at night around the pool. Great easy and inexpensive gift idea too! Thanks for sharing.

I have a bunch of spare plastic hangers. They are not the baby ones, but I will still make one butterfly with what I have and then get some baby hangers later. I also have a solar light just waiting for a new battery so that can be used as well! Thank you!! ❤️

You may be able to hot-glue a mesh fabric to each set of wings for a fuller effect.

Para ese entonces, el costo de un pollo o un pedazo de carne era alto para la clase obrera, por lo cual se comenzaron a vender porciones de papas fritas con una salchicha para calmar el hambre. Desde esos años hasta la actualidad, el platillo ha variado e incluido otras opciones como huevo, jamón, pollo, carne molida, champiñones, entre otros. en Perú que cada tercer domingo de noviembre se celebra el Día de la Salchipapa 🇵🇪

I loved these butterflies. Made one with the zip ties but was to floppy so the next one I hot glued the joints and then zip tied. Much more sturdy.
