I love mustad demons for my bait rods in the holder for snapper in victoria. I just use a straight uni knot since the hook has a straight shank but a snell is slightly better. When pickers are taking your bait to quick use a bigger bait. With a bigger bait the pickers will try grab it but it gives the bigger fish time to get in on the action. I prefer whole flyer squid, on 2x snelled hooks, its tougher and lasts longer. Great session keep them comming!

Hey Buzzy... can you recommend any fishing outfits in Cairns. Say one deep sea, one in the mangroves/river?
@Faircrackofthewhip-iv5sxАй бұрын
Fun thing to try, I'm not sure how all that started being able to walk across to double island, people have said that for years they can do it. However, at 0.2m low tide, there is still an 8m deep channel of water to cross... SHARK ALLEY. It may have been different a long time ago though.
@dawggonevidz9140Ай бұрын
Walked across the Barron at Kuranda bridge in March this year. The weir above the falls got washed away in eth big floods in December, and eventually the pool above the falls got shallow enough you could walk across. Locals say you haven't been able to walk across there for 90 years.
@GLENNDUNCAN-e2dАй бұрын
Where u are is at kewarra beach yeh. I wish I could post a video of where ur walking I used to live in kewarra beach and would walk everyday along the beach and almost everyday u would see about 6 or 8 bull shark cruising along in those waters and the little creek and the end of beach has a resident croc. oh one other thing u do know that it’s called shark alley that’s y lots of ppl fish of the pier at palm cove and pull massive tiger sharks of the pier.
