Looking at the two bottles which Lisa Harvey-Smith used, the first one ("air") appears to be dry, but I can see water droplets in the "CO2" bottle. Since water vapor has a much broader absorption spectrum than CO2, and water also stores & releases heat when evaporating & condensing, that's a serious error. Then she makes it worse, because her method of making "carbon dioxide" also ensures that the air contains a great deal of moisture. It really doesn't help the cause of promoting "Women in STEM" when a woman in STEM botches a scientific demonstration.

Still didn’t quite explain the “secret sauce”, but from what i am guessing it’s almost like those fog curtain displays, but less dense of a fog, and there is a focus knob being rapidly spun. The fog is also in an enclosed chamber almost like a Cloud Chamber? Is this the mechanism? (Sidenote using both of these (ie labeling particle traces) would be really interesting now that i think of it. If it could work that is. That idea is open source if i have “dibs” on it lol)

Forget the potato. for real long run time easy LED lighting google this: "Sims dead cell candle". For 2 dollars you can run a LED for about 8 weeks. It will also run just fine on used D cells from one of those touchless paper towel machines (free batteries).

I came here because I thought it would be a fun experiment to try out. Meanwhile people are over here doing witchcraft. I am very confused. Do kids actually think they’re going to do magic with mineralized salt?
