You're doing so wonderful with your pack❣️❣️❣️❣️

Lol, I had a Pomeranian who was the alfa over 3 Rottweilers . She did this when the Rottweilers were either laying down or standing next to a bed, chair, or sofa!😅😂 She even got away with taking a kill ( not encouraged. You can't save all animals from a pack like we had) from any of them 😂. Small but mighty ❣️❣️❣️

Thank you for all you've done for wolves over the years, been following the IWC for more than a decade (from UK, disabled so sadly can't visit) and it's been such a journey. Hope you continue to get the support you and the wolves deserve.

Do you know what it means when the tail moves in circles, from left to right and right to left?
@IntlWolfCenter22 күн бұрын
Thank you for such a good question! We informally call that a "helicopter tail" or "windmill tail." It depends on the situation, but they usually exhibit that tail posture in moments of high excitement and when interactions are ramping up. Since it is a higher tail posture, it is often associated with asserting dominance. Our Gone but not Forgotten ambassador, Axel, would sometimes exhibit that tail posture when correcting the young males.
@layalunahealing21 күн бұрын
@@IntlWolfCenter Thank you for sharing this insight! 'Helicopter tail' is a perfect description of that behavior. It's fascinating how tail postures can communicate so much within the pack dynamic. Axel sounds like he was an incredible ambassador and a strong leader within his pack. I love learning more about these nuanced behaviors-they remind me of how intricate wolf communication is!

Are the wolves spayed and neutered? Or is this a breeding program?
@IntlWolfCenterАй бұрын
Yes, all of our wolf ambassadors are spayed and neutered since we are not a breeding facility! However, they still are influenced by seasonal hormone changes since many of those hormones are produced by the brain, not just their reproductive organs.
