I didn’t really watch “Chico And The Man” when it was originally on NBC. I was twelve in 1976. But I do remember the very morning when I was getting ready for school, and my parents had the TV on “The Today Show”. I think it was Tom Brokaw who reported that Freddie Prince had shot himself the day before. Very tragic, it was in my mind on the way to school that morning.

My wife spent many years in the medical field and it is clear Frankie has the kind of Parkinsons that freezes your face. He is incapable of full animated facial expressions. Joe Biden probably has it as well.

Thank you for this. It is incredibly difficult to find Amy singing this live, with the proper musicians behind her that were from 20 years ago, meaning, all the instruments that made this song what it was, not acoustic.
