i got the boxes for so cheap and some led lights too electric sky 180s and 300s so i said why not. how do you grow? i just dont want to do soil and have my room smell like poop so i went hydro.

@@Bluntedco. Hey, not trying to be negative, I think this box has great potential. I grow in 2 diy cabinets I made. In pro-mix soil. I use flora nova nutes, and there is no smell cept for that sweet Purple Kush. :)

@@BillOweninOttawa i dont get offended i am new at this so i always like to learn. i just know that i grabbed mantis nutes and you dont need to do a res change so it makes it easy for me since im running a few boxes. i was thinking of stacking 1 bloombox on top of the other but i am not sure if it can handle the weight. i will try one box with soil to see if its not too bad with flies bugs etc.

I agree. I would much rather of gone with dirt if I could do it over again. I'm about 5 weeks into a grow now and had a nasty smell coming from the reservoir and there was some kind of fungus or mildew growing out of control in it. I've had it in everyone of the grows I done with this machine but this time is was much worse than normal. I ended up putting hydrogen peroxide in it and it took the smell away immediately and the plant started looking healthy again though

@@mp1952 huh? they do not give you 7lbs a year is what you are saying? i think a bloombox gives you like a half lb each crop and the producer 1lb per crop i dont think you get 1lb in the bloombox or 2lbs in the producer but who knows. i will find out soon.

@@mp1952 its all good i thought it was 7lbs per grow too but they told me it was per year. 7 producers will give you 7 lbs per grow though. You can use a bloombox as a producer too if you add a light in the left chamber. i have a couple boxes so ima see how i do per box im doing a ufo in the left chamber just to see what 90w can do vs the es180 v2 light ill have on the right side.

I have had one of these for about 3 years and done about 10 grows. I have yet to do a grow that didn’t get root rot or some fungus growing in the reservoir because of light leaks. They are to small to grow sativa strains and not worth the money

@@Bluntedco. Yea, for 600 bucks I would say its work it. You pretty much have to cover the entire top of the res with tin foil so the light dont grow mildew in the tank. You also want to put it somewhere cool because there is no water chiller unless you install one yourself. I would recommend almost using that 600 on a tent with a completely different set up.

@@Bluntedco. Yea, I bought 2 of these brand new, and spent almost 10k. For that kind of money I could of had something much better. $600 bucks is a pretty good deal though, and worth the cost. From my experience I found just growing 1 plant and using the sea of green training technique works best for the biggest yields. The 1 plant gave me about 14 ounces of good looking buds vs when I grew 2 plants I got about 8 ounces of bud with lots of air buds that weren't fully developed.

@@cutznfadez4683 Trust me I wouldn’t of spent 20k on a couple of boxes to bash it and give it a bad name for no reason. These grow boxes have many flaws and someone with a little knowledge could purchase something much better at a fraction of the cost.

@@diehardasitgets1459 i was mistaken. What i ordered was a grow box with hydroponics etc but it was not automated. So its not the same as you need to adjust lights, water etc. I wwnt for a grow box safe for about 600 usd.

How do I know that the box is nearly drained so I can stop before all of the water is out, and if there is water left in the box then will it not mess up the ph levels.

yeah it does everything for you, very expensive though then agin a few led and your up to that amount. there some small cosmetic issues they don't spray the upper white tops on both sides and there is spray on the floors piece, some attention detail stuff and some of them have lights peaking out everywhere and they have policy nothing can comes back if your growing anything illegal which they know what they are used for, also they push for you not to send it back by saying it cost a lot and you still have pay for it even though you have problems under their warranty of 3 years shipping both ways,, also there really isn't anyone close to how they engineers it, this one looks like engineer made it and the other one looks like 3rd grader put it together, once weed goes fully legal though nobody needs or is going to pay 4k for one of them, but who knows with big money coming into play some other company may come out with even better ones, then instead of aluminum maybe stainless steel. again though once it goes legal and everyone can grow for personal use a certain amount there no use for it, but if forget to water plants and also i is hydro not normal plant, i like to see their touch screen more like color i -touch it not worth at 2k option just get the regular one. the BB is to big for personal consumption the roommate is far better for personal consumption.
