Who was the band at the end? Seems like they were older than high school age.

You are correct...they were not in high school. The name of the band was "Park the Karma," You can Google them, or look them up on Discogs.

@@backporchvideos Was that in 1992? Did most of those cable companies give it any air time?

@@jinoziniosti5633 Our show ran until the mid-90's, although my involvement was minimal after around '93...so I'm not sure which stations we might have still been on. But yes, we were a very popular show (especially in the mid-late 80's, so many cities liked to play it. Also, I have the feeling that lots of playback ops liked it too because we did play some really good music.) It's also possible that Park the Karma shopped their video around to other music video shows, which then replayed it.

Hey any chance you would know if there is a public collection of the Videos made by ACCESS stored by the city? And where that might be held?
@backporchvideos7 ай бұрын
The Arabic Access channel back in those days played shows from a number of people or organizations that would deliver the tapes, of which ACCESS was just one entity. ACCESS still exists as an organization, so I would try calling them. But any tapes that were left there at the cable company over 35 years ago are long gone.
