the synopsis "Superman embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent." This sounds to me like it will be a story where Clark/Superman is trying to find the balance This is also supposed to be inspired by all-star Superman and superman of all seasons. This means this is an old-fashioned superman with all fashioned super hero ideals( think Captain America) in a world of dark/anit-heroes that will do what ever it takes. He is to show a better way to be a superhero. I hope we get something like that.
