If you don’t mind a little story time here (not that you have a choice, as I do decide to comment) I was bored on day about a month and a half ago searching online again for “haunted” places in Vancouver, I often just look around to see what’s near by and that I’d like to maybe check out with a friend (most places are too far for me as I don’t have a vehicle) when I came across the a link and read the articles about multiple places through out the region, this- this one stood out to me the most. Now with this one being super close to home I told my dad about, as I was reading it he became super silent and had that uneasy slightly disturbed look on his face. As he explained to me what he know it made sense his reaction as my grandpa is dad had an encounter with young lady okie night, but instead of disappearing at a location she vanished mid drive. That startled my great uncle and grandpa and caused them to crash into some bushes, thankfully unharmed they drove off quickly. A different time my dad told his experience with his first cousin my cousin. They did just about the exact same thing and my grandpa and great uncle, driving off with a uneasy feeling and confused as of what just happened. Yesterday I went for a run through the trails heading into UBC, halfway through the park I remember the stories and the said happening in the area. For what ever reason I hoped on to TikTok to try and record my memory of the experience, weirdly my mic didn’t pick up any words except a few at the end. I next hop on over to Snapchat and try to explain what happened to a private story, I don’t make it to my destination on the run as I hadn’t prepared myself well and over estimated my ability in this winter cold. I call my grandma before my phone dies and ask her to pick me up and bring me home as it would take another hour to run back. Once I get home I check what tried to post, and nothing uploaded to my stories. Felt strongly as if I shouldn’t talk about it, as I wait a day later looking into again before saying much more until now I guess?
