I'm glad that OP had such a good friend/family looking out for him. I am also glad that his mother finally came to her senses and that her parents were also willing to help fund OP's college fees. OP's father seems to be the one playing favorites. Now, they are a divided family. Can OP's mother deal with his father's favoritism? Can she trust him to not pull some financial hijinks for his golden child in the future? I hope counselling helps.

Why do all these kids in these stories outright expect their parents to pay for their college? Where I live, people get student loans or work throughout high school to pay for college. Just seems super entitled to me! 🤷♀️

If they pay for one child, they should pay for the other children.

Daughter was set up by Mom, who had also cheated (she was a wedding planner, of all things). That was the different version I first heard on a different channel. This story ends differently than that.

I’m convinced people just want to be the victim always. The rather be tormented then to forgive and move on. Only person op is hurting is himself. He could’ve been then healed and moved on but chose not to who. Let it go. It’s very selfish to not want your daughter to have a relationship with her uncle and cousin. Yes what they did was foul and messed up but even if they told you the truth it would’ve been the same reaction. Unforgiveness and grudges only hurts the person holding on to it . Holding on to something for 26 years wouldn’t be worth my time nor energy

If my daughter did that i was disowning her n the family that sided w/ brother, fvck that. N the fact she knew n still invited him 2 her wedding, she just as bad as op brother if not worse because thats his DAUGHTER. Op (imo) never grew a backbone over the yrs. Op friend had 2 tell him what he should've known bout his scumbag brother. N he was still at wedding even after he tried use her to for his own intrest? All that 4giveness bs. Miss me w/ it.

That brother is ridiculous, if he wants to make it right, he can divorce his wife, and then in another 26 years, the length of the relationship, I'd give him a chance.

His brother is there to stick it to him one more time. If she wants you at the wedding, go. _But_ tell her firmly, very firmly, that you will not interact, speak to, listen to, look at dear brother, and make sure she understands and tells that terrific man. Also Lily and brother can sort it out financially. Not a penny.

finally a story where the man has a back bone. good on him in no letting the train wreak back in to his daughter's life. pretty convenient for her to now be better and be dating someone new, only on his insistence is she reaching out. im pretty sure is he didnt come to know, she wouldnt have reached out. and its also very convenient that she just tossed her family aside after all the pain she put OP through but is now dating somenoe and is apparently happy.

Mommy was of course an innocent victim of mean Ol daddy. These AI writers are where truth goes to DEI in Hollywoke. It took Google way to long to pull the plug on their DEI AI.
@robertosborn9910Ай бұрын
So mom says she will divorce dad if he doesn't make it right and get OP to forgive them and come back home? The dad does absolutely nothing to "make things right" but doubles down. He messes around, falls for his moms lines, and goes back home. Dad moves out, but the parents are going to counciling to make their marriage work? What happened to divorce if the dad didn't make things right? Just one of these AI stories i want the OP character to tell the supposed parent who "will divorce the parent if they don't make things right," to show them the divorce papers or don't bother contacting them. It is always i'll divorce him or her, then nothing. Spare me an OP character who falls for meaninless posturing.
