Laggy jaggy visual experience. Since sound is a possible medium in EMDR why not use it in stereo here to enhance the effect instead of the mono ping pong sound?

I have a question, how do I know when to stop? Do you need to be in a state where you don't feel sensation and emotion at all? Because sometimes with EMDR I can feel calm after 10 minutes and sometimes nothing happens. Is there a situation where we need to do EMDR for an hour or more until we become calm?

You stop when the trauma your therapist told you to locate in your body and visualize, doesn't bother you anymore or bothers you less. Which could be 10 minutes or more. Your body will be the judge of how long it takes, depending on the severity of your trauma.

Amazing, some random due just stared at me just as I started watching this in my car in the mall parking lot, like giving an evil eye. I was not pulled to react to his unspoken aggression, I just calmly looked away as the good energy within me prompted me away from staring back like I often do. Wow, I neutralized his aggression with a higher vibration without intending to, just by follow the higher impulse that guided me away, and he backed down lowering his eyes, softening up and walked away. That’s amazing, and I am only at 3 minutes

my body started shivering/shaking or like my breathing did and then i started to feel more relaxed i started crying after feeling like tears wouldn't come out all day and then i googled and learned that shuddering is a physical sign of emotional recovery from PTSD I LOVE THIS, thank you 😭

Cannot thank you enough. i had an unsatisfactory session with a registered emdr therapist . Probably for the best as then i turned to utube and this is just fantastic. And i can do it any time. In my own time. At my own pace. it is helping me so much. I just work on bite size pieces of the many traumas in childhood that stay embedded as someone said to one day become a 'people pleaser" A 'never good enough". A inner feeling that 'i musn't expect to have my needs met', that my needs dont matter. Thank you sooooooooooo much.
