Love Adam Richman, just a guy who loves and appreciates food and is always welcome in the UK. One of the only Americans who understands British cuisine and why it's underrated (yeah for once, that word is valid to use). Is it as good as most of mainland Europe? No, but what the UK does well in, it's the best in the field. Cream and ice cream based puddings, cake, pies, and anything involving pastry the UK will go toe to toe with the best of Europe. Won't win any prizes for barbeque but anything the UK gives you out of an oven, will be top tier. And I don't wanna hear 'yea but with 4 countries you're kinda cheating' - cos the entire UK is still smaller than most European countries.

Nutritionally balanced long before that became a thing, it is comfort food for a cold wet day, and still the simplest recipe has the power to give huge pleasure. Lots of pepper and some salt, garnished with beetroot and sliced cabbage which complement it perfectly,All hail the Lancashire Hot Pot.
