This is a beautiful performance of a very tricky work. Laura does a stunning job dealing with the intricacies of the vocal line, but also seems to characterize the music very nicely. She looks stunning in that beautiful dress! Kudos to the orchestra and the conductor as well. I have already watched this about six times!

I wish the great Alexander Kobrin had spent a bit more time figuring this sonata out. This seems a pretty half-hearted attempt at it.

Nice sound but group arranges in a u-shape at their detriment. Singers on the end predominate unnaturally because they are closer to the mic. Ok for performance but not for recording. Singers in front on the ends are 10 feet closer to the mic and are heard as individual voices.

I forgot to list the year of the concert. It was actually a live recording made on December 5, 2021, not this year. It was during a peak of the pandemic. Thus, wearing a face mask was a safe measure to protect the audience and the singers. Singing with a mask is definitely not comfortable. It is so hard to control breath and project a beautiful singing voice. This video is also a record to show how hard it is to have live concerts during the pandemic. As a recording engineer, I think they did an outstanding job presenting this concert.
