What's the point of this? What a poor representation of the shots. The rooms, for example, are only shown for fractions of a second, and then there are too many fades that make everything unclear, details that are shown in much too large close-ups are also not clearly visible, the same shots are unnecessarily repeated at different times. This means you can hardly enjoy all the beautiful things in the hotel. Only the exterior shots are good.

... A historical correction is required: Stanford Raffles was Not the founder of Singapore. He was, arguably, the founder of "modern" Singapore.

This is a fun personal fact. I was in my early 20's and visiting Paris. I had always wanted to see The Ritz, so off I went! I found it, went inside to look at the first floor interiors. A gentleman immediately approached me and asked, "Excuse me, Sir, are you a guest of the hotel?" I answered with a simple, "No". He then said the hotel is only for guests, or something like that. I politely left and that was that. The glimpse of what I saw was quite beautiful. If I only had money...

heavy on the adjectives, and light on the specific facts associated with such a legendary hotel. Why not discuss the size, the prices, who the architect actually was, who owns it, etc.
