Nice car.I had a 95 Z28 optioned the same way. Steering wheel and baseball shifter are cringe but hey it was quicker, faster, better handling, and better looking than most anything on the road at that time.

Beautiful car. I'm one of the few who prefer the LT1 SS and WS6 styling over the LS cars. I have a 96 WS6 Trans Am.

I can't imagine how hard it was to get all that chrome trim! Then to getting the body right to where it fits. I graduated HS in 1981 and the ones I saw looked rough, that trim...

I had a burgandy mist 69 w-30 (400cuin) 4spd muncie m-22 cr w 4.33 posi rear bought new on my order in fall of 68. A major sleeper, the night before i put 3.42's in it because of all the highway miles, I dumped a hemi-cuda with it. NOBODY knew what a W-30 was. i actually traded in a 67 442 w cr 4 spd and 3.90's which i had ordered fall of '66 6 months out of eng school. Both were pretty much stock with some ignition tweaks and quadrajet work I had figured out. Brings back memories as I approach 80 this summer.

No thank you, not a good design, I want a 1972 MARK IV and ONLY a 72 MARK IV . The government is responsible for ruining the 73 to 76 with the big clunky 5 mph bumpers. THE MARK V is OK but the 72 is thee PINNACLE of all 2dr LINCOLN COUPES...

Oldsmobile had its own unique idle tone. And its high end power band. All its power came in at 3000rpm and kept pulling hard.❤❤

Long duration cams and the exhausts were specially tuned to get that wonderful " gallop" sound only an oldsmobile V8 can make 😂

I don't agree with the black paint on lower portion of car, that's not like factory. I used to have one of these Factory yellow n black stripped rallye chargers for years. Sorry but I don't care for the black painted grills, to gaudy and not factory. And that yellow paint is the wrong yellow for that car.
