I saw this when I was a teenager in the late 80s. The Teen Haven put up a movie screen in the Neighborhood. I had no idea that it was Washington. I hadn't seen Him since I was a kid in the 70s. But I always remembered this film.

As a preacher i find this excellent. You may never know when i could have to help a family through a crisis like this. One thing. I do believe the parents should have told her. Laura. And probably sooner. Something i know from my past. I can't discuss the situation at all. But i did learn years ago that it is on lot better for the parents to tell a child the truth than for the kids at school and elsewhere to tell the child. About 50 plus years ago my parents kept something secret from me. But I never forgot when some of the kids in school told me! It did cause a further alienation between my parents and me. While I believe Dad died a saved man. I can't say whether my Mom did I forgave them. And the only reason I even mention it to advise others on how important it is to tell your children important and hurtful things. If you don't you may not like it when the wrong people do.

Thank you! This one is excellent. I love it. I have saved since 1978. I am a Pentecostal preacher. I have been married and widowed twice. In fact I am planning on marrying for a third to God fearing Pentecostal widow out in Missouri! But this is a very challenging episode. I believe it will help me more not only with my next marriage but as I endeavor to help other married couples. God bless you.

Too much smooching, and Chaplain shouldn't have picked her up when she fell. Good show overall, though.

The "ideals" of communism are nothing compared to its practices. Those who admire it are free to move to a communist country. Just don't try to get back out again. Those in this comment section who admire communism are displaying their total ignorance of its history. BTW, the definition of the Greek word "atheist" means "without GOD," and is an apt description of its followers.
