Amazin video! Can you tell me the height of the back seats when flipped down? So I know what size of boxes I need to create a flat surface. Thanks!
@Nev4
@Nev4 4 ай бұрын
I actually have noooo idea because a year later I removed the seats and bins entirely and build a proper storage/bed frame in the back. I’ll post a video soon. But my recommendations is to lay your seats down, tape measure the height, and keep in mind you can always stack some wood underneath the bin to raise it up to proper height.

Im about to be living out of my 2008 prius. Excited and nervous. I lived out of a dodge avenger before, there was 2 of us living in there. but itll be just me in the prius so im excited to have all the room and can make an actual little bed and everything. I have been debating on whether or not to get like an extra chargeable power supply because I am in online college and I will probably be on my laptop majority of the time I am not at work. and of course keeping my phone charged is important to me.

I got some ideas out if your video. I have to fit a mobility scooter in my car which I have ideas for. Instead of a car pod top I can cover the bottom of the boot with wood and, store those items in. Thank you

How often does the engine kick on overnight, every 20 minutes or so for a few seconds?

Just depends on what temperature you’ve sent it to, or if you’re just using it to charge devices. It was a very rare night that I needed climate control.

Loving this video. I'm showing this to my students this semester in a class I'm teaching on the history of climbing in the Red. Your video gives lots of great opportunities for me to explain climbing terminology as well as seeing the beauty of the Red River Gorge. If you're ever interested, I also talk a lot about the importance and history of Roadside Crag in my book. Subscribed, thanks for sharing this.

I’m thinking of touring the Rockies this summer in my prous.. from newmexico to Alaska… advice?
@Nev4
@Nev4 Жыл бұрын
Most important thing is to get a sleeping set up that you can tolerate. Since it’s only one summer, you don’t need to do anything super crazy to your car. Summer is great, not as cold at night, you can sleep with the windows cracked to avoid crazy condensation, you can download apps like ioverlander to help get you started with finding places to fill up water and park at night, although I never use the app anymore because it’s just second nature. Final piece of advice, you don’t need a perfect plan in place before you start. Just start and you’ll figure it out! Cheers!

@@Nev4 I’ve got a pretty good sleeping situation.. and I just found out that all four seats Fold flat… that’s a game change for me. I’m 6ft 2in plus. The ac doesn’t work well and may cost as much as 800$ to replace the expansion valve. So that’s why I’m thinking the Rocky Mountains is a good choice.. if It’s too hot.. I just go up.
