that was before U4 update if I'm correct. Today I'll post my new attempt in AAR inside other type of flight, and it's not easy as it used to be. I also struggle with it now.

What a landing at 1:08:13, never saw one like this! Comming in below glide slope and entering flare with swiftly corrected, perfect hight, speed and AOA, that was unexpected!

well, it's not that perfect as I bounced of the ground once, but yeah, I do have some kind of a feeling to land this bird in any circumstances, you just see my older videos, for instance look barely make it video :-D

I could put "none" under graphic settings under canopy, but this shouldn't happen even with reflection.

you can buy Falcon 4.0 from Steam or GOG, and then you can download FalconBMS for free. The Falcon 4.0 is just for licence purpose and you don't need it for playing, but it has to be installed on your HD. FalconBMS doesn't have to be installed inside, you can put it where ever you like. Good flying! :-)

I'm trying to get better at coms and your recordings help me a lot about not just for this but for a lot more, tactics-wise and bunch of other stuff. But I have some difficulties sometimes. What did Stevie call at 21:42? Delay 90 right 90 left go?

Yup, Link 16 is game changer. If I had this when I strarted to fly again couple of years ago I wouldn't be that lost in the air. I remember when I lost visually my flight I wouldn't see them until we land. 😂 It always fun to have you as GCI, you make situation way easyer. Your calls are precise and clear, one can learn a lot how to GCI from just listening your calls.

Great work! Im insecure about playing MP but good for you and your team! Im new to the sim, but maybe i can give you a little trick. The fox 3 in the HUD has 2 stages of DLZ (dynamic launch zone). The larger outter bracket is the "low probability" or so called <fox 3 long> the thing is, if you pickle when the arrow is way up in the larger bracket, the target may maneuver or turn around and the missile lose track. The minor bracket is the "high probability" of impact. Have in mind that you will be much closer to the target and they can shoot a missile too. Also, notice that when the fox 3 is launched, in the HUD it appears a letter with a number countdown. it will change letters when the missile goes to different stages. When the M dissapears it indicates that the self radar has become active: in that moment is when the pilot calls <pitbull> in this moment it will apear a T for termination, basically a countdown to impact. So, if you launch the missile too far away from target, you will have to wait longer to the missile radar to activate (i think so). So <pitbull> takes longer. (pitbull is when you can turn around from the missile) If you turn around too early it also lower the probability of kill. i hope this helps!! Altough, very good gameplay!

Thanks for your input and advice. You said it right and I'm aware of it. Sometimes in heat of battle you just don't look at it when you should be cause you are overwhelmed with too many info comming your way. Also don't miss sometimes you have to shoot bad missile just to scare off incoming enemies cause it can buy you life to you and your team. If they are defending they can't attack and you just might need that small time you bought. We always try to respect MAR and DOR and SKATE and SHORT SKATE, but for me it's not that easy honor that every time. If you can then you will be valuable asset to your team mates. Go try MP cause it's best thing ever (and that's come from me who don't like MP in other games)

Maybe you guys were disappointed but for me this was a great video. Did you have so much information in your HSD because of Link 16 or it was each other's TACAN generating this info - or both? I learned some things here - seems like you guys were each tracking different vertical radar "zones" by adjusting your antenna elevation. Also horizontally ( the vertical blue lines in A-A MFD). I have a long way to go!

yes, we had our Link16 working and set up fine, we had neighboring flights set. The SOP is that lead is scanning from 20 up and wing from 20 down. Lead is assigning groups (also AWACS but lead have the last word). Usually you use sorting side-side, near-next near, higher-lower. Come and join us, and speed up your learning curve like me. See my older BVR videos and see the difference. And I'm a slow learner.

Cannot blame 4 for being a newcomer/beginner though but it might end up much differently if he would have aimed to the one on the right. Tacan kept him pretty busy I guess.

he didn't knew he could shoot preemptive shot without lock, that would help us to get away from them as they evade two missiles. But that's the point of the training. You realize what you are doing wrong and aim to fix it till next time.

@@munckmb if you flew in MNT (Monday night training) and save it in 2D in the top menu, you should haave it for offline training. If you haven't you can join next MNT or ask Stevie on UOAF discord channel.

Почему в bms при малейшем повреждении, даже если хвостом задеть ВПП при посадке сразу потухают mfd и hud? Когда уже сделают ближе к реальности, bms многим хорош, но в этом моменте просто ужас!

it depends, the AI is not human and you might enjoy it if you don't know how good mp is. But you can do more with people. AI is definitely good for practice when you don't have people around, but I'd say you learn a lot more and a lot faster with people

@@k3yb04rd I watch people playing online and it’s just so serious. Like they are role playing being a pilot, having the fun squeezed right out. Some of the DCS MP servers although basic are a ton of fun because you’re playing against other people.

To center your HUD flip the drift CO switch up on the UFC. That way your fpm isn’t so far askew when flying in strong winds aloft. That 2nd bomb likely missed because the azimuth was off when released.

thanks on that but leaving speed aside I read wrong state of the fuel, it was 4000 and not 400 (0.44). Green line covered last digit of fuel and in speed look I didn't realize it but at the end it didn't matter.

Great video guys on the new L16! Just a tip for HMCS alignment on ramp, you need to be on Nav mode. It seems that you are on AA mode. 🙂

On most major updates you lose saves so always backup everything you want to save before updating. I heard that you can use old frags but you have to fix with files for Link 16, something like creating this new files. Also not all theaters are updated, KOR and Balkan did but not yet sure about other. IDK personaly how to fix but you can ask oakdesign or richionizor on UOAF dc channel and they might help you. I backed up my whole BMS folder before U4 for other reason. I hope you'll find your answer.

I think that in plane is much easier than in simulation with TrackIR. You just have unnatural movements in sim and that is slowdown for VIDing em.

@1:38 set your bingo to 7216 that way you know when your bags are empty and you can Jett them before commiting. @4:35 210kt takeoff might pop the tires. @5:20 Lead needs to give you some "smash" so you can form up. @34:13 Master Caution, CAT3 airframe overstress? @36:45 you ALT reads 559 MSL but you're 180ft lower. RALT was not on? 1st Mav into the water, ouch. Nice little trick on egress is to set your Bingo to zero, then you can see how much fuel you have left in actual time. @1:00:35 175kts over the threshold is a bit quick and your AOA is showing that. After touchdown was your NWS on? Any flight you can walk away from is a good one! Keep the blue side up :)
