The Cure, Depeche Mode, Springsteen and Meatloaf thrown in a blender. It really shouldn't work, but it fucking does. IT FUCKING DOES!!!

This song makes me feel like I’m in a roller coaster, the stomach butterflies and the different curves, ohh and the ending.. their endings are beauty on its own. Lately their tunes sound less rock and roll,, good still but i cant say i don’t miss their more ‘speedy’ songs..

it´s a really difficult to understand how a fucking great album still under-rated by the most, maybe because it was comformed at all by just gratest songs, !!!

0:45 - 0:51 The melody being played by the instruments here, I SWEAR I've heard somewhere else in a different song. It's really bugging me though because I can't think of which song it is. I'm 99% sure it's a different Killers song, though (which would make sense of course). Anyone else also recognize this?

when I was 17 years old I thought the wild river was the life ahead of me. The metaphor was easy for keeping to understand. I wasn't gonna be a kid anymore :/ and that was just lame to think of. I just wanted to hang out with my friends and play handball and video games and skate on the longboard, make fun of eachother and defend eachother. Couldn't even eat cereal the same anymore. I love this album the most. It was the first I ever bought for myself... and I showed it to my friends till they grew to like it. Talking and singing at the same time hahaha! Sam's Town.

The first time I heard this song, was from a canadian girl, named Paula, playing some shitty korean mmo with me. We got AIM (yes, that old), and were chatting. Eventually, she says, "check these guys, I think you'll like them", and sends this song to me via link to YT. They played this song in Miami live lastnight at the Amer. Airlines Arena.... holy shit that show blew my mind.
