Thank you for doing the darkest color first. So many or these tutorials go the other way around and I keep thinking that could cause more of an issue if you make mistakes Also, thanks for not doing hairless rat style so many other Skaven tutorials do. Despise that look...

Also did you spray with a metallic then white scar I ask because the glue dots look metallic
@DarcyBonoCreations4 күн бұрын
Nope. The glue dots are clear and glossy. You're just seeing the grey background through the crumpled clear material 😄.

Not sure if you’re reading comments days later but I wanted to say thanks for producing this video. I would love to see how a historical scale modeler works on any 40k/AoS Terrain. There are already great videos how to fast paint terrain, so I would love to see a more in-depth “diorama level” approach to painting terrain.
@DarcyBonoCreations4 күн бұрын
Oh I always read comments 😁 and thank you for leaving one. I actually plan on having him paint some of the new Kill Team terrain or even the Nightmare engine thing from the Kill Team Nightmare box set. Something really industrial and gritty, but like you said give it more detail and texture.

Thank you! They're just synthetics I buy at Michaels. I use size 1s and 2s for smaller stuff and size 4 for larger portions: www.michaels.com/product/golden-taklon-short-handle-round-brush-by-artists-loft-vienna--10013283?

Killer tutorial. Those scale modeling folks really know their stuff. Would love to see something on vehicle weathering - I have very little confidence in that field and that seems like a particular area of expertise.

Best thing to do is just dive in and have fun! Don't pressure yourself by comparing to others and you don't need to spend tons of money. Just enjoy the process and you'll be surprised how quickly you learn!

No word of a lie, I learned more practical painting tips from you just now than I have in years of watching other KZbinrs in the hobby. Thank you for the segment showing the mold lines and talking about the cleanup, that was a great detail most skip completely. The blending technique is fantastic and I'm going to try that out too.

I'm curious, does he ever use something like the green stuff rollers or is it always scratch build? very enjoyable video.
@DarcyBonoCreations8 күн бұрын
I've actually used GreenStuff rollers before. It's more expensive, but faster. The downside is you can't customize the scale/pattern of the bricks. And thank you! 🙂
