This may seem dumb but how the heck do you get that cam chain off. I unscrewed the tensioner and still can’t get it off. I’ve never done this before so i don’t know where to go from here

I just found the same machine 885 miles 1996. Old farmer that bought a side by side and had no use do it anymore. All original. So far the only thing I found was one skid plate bolt is a replacement.

So with this install do you have to take the swingarm loose the first time to remove anything. I just got a banshee and realized the oem white roller is just sitting on mine loosely

@barrettsnell78852 жыл бұрын
If you ever have any over heating problems put 4 electric fans on the front of the radiator and leave the fan on the engine to blow air over the engine

I’m in Midland, Tx. Anyone out here or close by with knowledge Ian these 6.2 Detroit engines? I just bought a 1986 Silverado with a 6.2 Detroit engine and I’d like for someone to take a look at it. It runs fine, it’s just extremely sluggish.

Great 6.2 video!! How is it determined when rotating crank where on timing mark will expose allen screw in injection pump to turn up fuel?...what position?
@TeamTopKick3 жыл бұрын
Just remove the top. Suck out fuel if it makes it easier to see the mark. Then turn engine by hand till the hole comes around. If you want afterwards get some nail polish and mark the crank for future reference.

I noticed your comments on Missouri Battleflag and looked you up. You are a smart cookie! I am blocked on Darrell's channel for my comments about his behavior. I'm surprised he let yours stay. Please keep commenting on his videos as he has blocked most of us. He edits his videos trying to gain sympathy, but he is such a lying thief and is horrible when his camera is turned off. Ask him about the building he burned down awhile back when he was evicted and is he going to burn this one down...lol. And I'm going to show your videos to my husband!

Hello, quick question is it okay if the timing is perfect up in the cams and timing chain. The piston is on TDC. But I can't get the notch on the bottom to align with TDC.. the atv I got it this way with no spark, hence no start.

Since back in the day you were a machinist. Shouldnt you be checking the torque on everything, not using an untrue tool like your finger to check slack and not using an untrue tool like a measuring tape to measure it. Oh and by the way after you tightened the locknuts you didn’t re-measure the adjusting bolt to within a thousandth. Your axle is not true. Back to the drawing board.
