I feel like they shouldn’t have had her react that way to kissing John then :/ cause if they’re trying to play out a bi-Francesca that loves John, that reaction isn’t it. From what they’ve shown, she seems like she’s questioning her sexuality completely. Idk I feel like Jess Brownwell could’ve done a better job with executing the Franny/John/Michaela dynamic. I’m hoping in S4 we get to explore the love story between John and Franny more so we can really see the love rather than be told it. Idk what do you think? Are you hopeful?

@@justravs I can't wait for their story in S4, and for her season too (I wonder if they're planning on S5 or S6). Francesca and John are, individually, the characters I identify with the most, and I love their relationship. I don't think it's fair to her character to make that judgment, that she doesn't love him, based on a sequence that lasted less than 10 seconds. She met John just weeks before they got married. They clearly get along, and by the way she looks at him, and talks about him, with adoration, we know she feels very deeply about him. Their first kiss is happening IN FRONT of people (I feel like it’s been well established that Francesca hates doing anything in front of people), and it’s her very first kiss. I think she was just having a moment where she was overthinking herself, because she still has her mom’s voice in her head about what love is supposed to look and feel like. I really think it’s as simple as that, and once she has more privacy with John, she’ll feel more comfortable with him sexually as well. If she doesn’t, and it’s less physical, that’s fine too! Romantic attraction and sexual attraction are often, but not always, linked (like for aro/ace people). If it turns out Francesca really isn't sexually attracted to John, I don't think it invalidates her love for him. Anyway, I think there are so many explanations for Francesca’s reaction. We should give them a chance. We only got a glimpse in S3, and I doubt the writers have already written their story (they've probably only got a general idea of what it's going to be).

​​@@justravs For me, the show wanted her to be full on lesbian and that's why she had that surprisedly disappointed look when kissing him, but the show big bosses like Shonda and Jessie the showrunner knew both the Author and rigid book fans (the overlap with the racists against the diversity is big, so I don't think they care for them that much) wouldn't allow for John's love story to be invalidated, so they embellished what gay and lesbians feel for their first straight relationship; but if you read the explanation it doesn't make sense, because if "the love is there" but it's an asexual love, then that's friendly love and HOW is the damsel feeling "I rather be friends and fuck your sibling" LOVE, when the genre being Romance implies we're talking about romantic (with passion, sex) love? They basically said "we're not denying she loves him, but she loves him as a friend and she's about to find out if that's what she wants from a romance". Come on.

Accountability and authenticity are two things that she’s had to really face this season, and we’re gonna continue that thread going into Season 4." Also: "The show always lives in a place of gossip. It’s still gossip, but we tried to make a point at the end of Season 3, that gossip gets a little bit of a bad reputation and that … it can be information, especially for vulnerable people, like the young women in the ton, sharing information about the way certain men are treating other women or treating their staffs. Just think, there are people who have been waiting on that mirror scene since the book was originally published! "People" is me. I am glad they at least got part of it right. Though, if you read the reference in the book, there is something pivotal missing here (beyond the whistledown reveal). He's supposed to have come up from behind her to cup her full, naked breasts and...in front of that mirror. But since they were also supposed to dance in the rain at Berkeley Square before they ever got together beyond friends, and that got changed to dancing in a dry church after their engagement was announced, I guess I will "settle" for one of the hottest love scenes in tv history. But hey, if they want to release some of the footage that they cut this season, my "full" mirror scene may be in there somewhere. 🔥 😅

I also read that there are deleted scenes of bridgerton that they haven't released yet everyone trying to sign petion so Netflix could release I hope they do release

I think by now everyone knows, there is nothing to react to. They had 16% of a screen time throughout 8 episodes. It's horribly written and hard to watch. I had a feeling she won't upload the 5-8 episodes, and I completely understand why.

@@nika-pt2pl unpopular opinion but for the most part I liked it (as a big book fan). Part one was definitely better and releasing the whole season at once would have been a better decision. But I completely understand why others dislike it. Personal opinion I guess. 😊

Some of the scenes are cut in weird way and it feels like something is missing and I feel this is the reason why so mamy people doesn't like this season, we all wanted to see our lead couple a lot more especially with 2 year wait for another season...
