I just watch the movie .. what a shame !!! British people have no right to wonder why the rest of the world hate their bloody country 😏 May god bless those innocent Irish men 🤲😔🙏

A man who could read the room. See the funny side of nature and his surrounding environment and then entertain us with his take on it. I just wish I had seen him live when I had the chance instead of worrying about the cost of the tickets.

As expected, all these politicians, even those who SEEM progressive, are conservative and cover up (to a greater or lesser degree) all the infamies of the political class to which they belong, regardless of which side they are on. Saying that the soldiers acted "wrongly" is an example of this. That was not a "wrong" act, but a cowardly and infamous cold-blooded murder. Euphemisms are characteristic of politicians who pretend to give a progressive image, but in reality they do not get to the bottom of things. Apologies? Yes, but with euphemisms... and that will be all, no judging and punishing those murderers in uniform. But it is logical: when a politician class really relies on force to make itself obeyed, it has to guarantee the impunity of its thugs; otherwise, they would not agree to do this dirty work. That is how these things work. I certainly hope that Cameron's bland statement will help bring relief to those who lost their loved ones. For them, that's as far as it goes, but the indignation and desire for total justice in this world continues. And I'm not talking about the passivity disguised as pacifism that U2 advocates with "Sunday Bloody Sunday," nor about taking up arms. I'm talking about educating ourselves as a society and learning to form a social power that, without weapons, is capable of giving itself honest rulers. Hugs and condolences.

Listen the IRA where run by the military/ mi5 , most of its top leaders where know as influencers who helped shape the direction the movement went, example move away from violence to the ballet box ( ring any bells yet). But the war had to continue until the time was right to end it. BIG picture the brits where then waging war on it's own people , wile using Ireland as a training groung on counter insurgency, then export this skill worldwide . The real troubles lasted from 69 until 77/79 .

Say what you want about Brendan Hughes. One thing is for certain he never deviated from the original cause of the Republican movement. You get people like Danny Morrison trying to besmirch his name in articles, I bet most true republicans dont feel that way.

Gerry looked good in this shot, he spoke well and conducted himself like a gentleman, I guess he had lots to say but maybe the government should come out and act as he did and crawl on the ground for forgiveness.

I saw him about the road all the time as a kid, but didnt know anything about him, couldnt believe it when i watched a documentary in 2018, and it was such a familiar face,i just thought he was a normal guy like most of us. He was genuine and authentic. The reason i cant understand why anyone joins any armed resistence groups, especially seeing what we learned from the troubles on all sides, is because how can you trust anyone? even if id strong beliefs id not do it because id never truly trust anyone. All sides had more informers than actual authentic dedicated people.
