4090 hase more SU - 67%, TMU - 33%, ROP - 9% (less), RT cores 33% and bit faster memory, cost more than twice - real todays price, but performance diffrence is less than 15%, and "new" melting connectors as bonus 🧐

The fact that a $1,000 GPU is getting 47fps on high settings is STUPID insane. This is a 4K card, Alan Wake II needs some serious work.

The RX 7900 XTX significantly outperforms the RTX 4080 in raw power, so if you’re focused solely on performance and want higher FPS, I would definitely recommend the RX 7900 XTX. Are you referring to DLSS? Because both GPUs are going to output the same image quality. FHD is FHD, and 4K is 4K....

I set mine at -25pbo and it uses 20 watts of power while gaming with no fps limit 170+ fps. The 14900k with same performance is using 170 watts. It's so sad that the whole world has been like AMD = bad.

Most likely fake benchmarks. Other benchmarks show vastly different performance in lead of the 6900XT.

Different tests will show different performance, if only because of different test locations. In almost every game you can find an undemanding location where the FPS will be much higher and a very demanding one where the FPS will be lower. I will try to refine the data in the future and provide all the test locations in the description, the gameplay fragments in the film do not show the places where the graphics cards were tested.

I just bought a 7900 GRE to pair up with my 5800x3D and it’s an absolute charm. Overclocking and undervolting can make it go up to 7900 XT levels

@@chilledgamez3659 The 6900xt was like $1700 cad around launch, priced similarily to a 3080ti (things got nutty up here). It really wasnt that great deal of a card. I remember my 6900xt aio buddy was downright pissed when a 3060ti could match it in anything with RT turned on. CP2077 and Dying light 2 ran much better on the 3060ti with said rt and at fairly acceptable levels. Fast forward today and you should look at the 7800xt as a much better buy than either of the cards mentioned in the video for pure raster. 6xxx amd was hot garbage for the price imo.

It's insane to think that RX 6900 XT would have any problems runing games at 1080p... and here on your benchmark it's struggling to run 1080p...

Why can't it handle 1080p when it has over 60 FPS in every game without RT? With RT it's a different matter because it's Nvidia technology and AMD GPUs simply perform worse here, especially older GPUs. Additionally, I noted in the description that I test games in demanding locations, so take that into account as well.

@@BilBenchPC "it has over 60 fps" for an 900 series XT card is not a valid description. You can see other benchmarks and compare same games and see very different results. Either your testing is bad or you don't understand that 6900 XT can't be described as "having over 60 fps"

No matter how you look at it, the RX 6900 XT is an almost 4-year-old card. Moreover, if you play games, you have probably noticed that the FPS is not constant - in some locations it is higher, and in others it can drop by half. My tests are not intended to show the maximum number of frames in a given game, but rather the average value below which the GPU will not go down even in the hardest locations. If you want to see results from undemanding locations where the values will be higher than in most of the normal game, you will not find such tests here.

This entire video is rasterized performance, I'm assuming you were using some kind of upscaling. I had that card I couldn't push over a hundred without any upscaling

The biggest difference is the power draw. You'll spend 2x much more on electricity with 450Watts on the 3090Ti vs 280 Watts on the 4070Ti

If DLSS/FSR was used, it is indicated in the upper right corner next to the resolution, if there is no such information, it means that the game was tested without DLSS/FSR

The RTX 3090 is still a powerful card with plenty of VRAM, but it's all a matter of price. Personally, I would look for something newer with similar performance, it will be cooler, quieter, consume less power and support newer technologies (e.g. DLSS 3.0)

The price is in US dollars, but this is the MSRP at the time the card hit the market. I don't see the point of entering current prices because they can change very quickly and there is no way to update them in the video.

A lot depends on the specific game, in some games the average FPS will be practically the same, in others 10 or even 20% higher with 5800X3D. In my opinion, you can easily upgrade to 7900 XT because the improvement over 1070 will be huge, and in the future you will always be able to think about changing the CPU

In order for the test results to be similar, the same card is not enough, a similar specification of the remaining components, the same graphic settings and the same test place are also needed. In my tests, these are challenging locations and it is noted in the description that for most of the normal gameplay the results will be higher than in my tests.
