steel expansion under temp changes is much less than plastic, might slowly weaken as product heats and cools... nylon is thermoplastic that melts at 250c rather than 125celcius for hdpe, nylon thread might work better, similar rate of expansion

Great video! Love all the suggestions - quick question - I am trying to build the latch at minute 2 of the video and have the glue, dowel and 2x2 handy. I got the part where the dowel connects the 2 pieces but you have also referenced a screw part and am unclear where that goes. I don’t see any screws on the outside of the 2x2, hence wondering. Sorry if it sounds like an obvious question, but I promise I went through the video several times to figure it out! Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the video. Mine came with a grade 8 unfortunately from the dealership. Just sheared it for the first time after 2 years. Hopefully it is okay.

Thanks for the great video! I bought that torch from HF awhile ago and have been a little leery about using it. Going to fill the propane tank now, and can’t wait to use it on the weeds!

The only people who say it's cheating are the guys who have access to unlimited supplies of stuff they can nap. I happen to live in a place where the closest stone is 4.5 hours by car and all the stuff online today is either junk or way to expensive to not slab and get as much as possible yeah I wish I lived in an area where I could just go for a short drive and load up my truck for nothing and do it the way man has for thousands of years unfortunately we can't all do that these days

I’ll agree with results. Don’t use pure peroxide , must dilute for wounds or mouthwash, as it is harsh.

you can buy a decent bag of calcium chloride and make your own. The bag of it is $9 and it will last you a life time. 70 mil water to 30 mil of CaCl store in a jar in the fridge. Save your money for other things.

OK, this video just saved me literally hundreds of dollars. I've spent several hours taking the starter off and having it tested (it was fine), searching the wiring for an abrasion or break (found nothing), spoke to 3 knowledgeable auto mechanics and one tractor mechanic, learned nothing except you have to "just search for the dead short, it's there somewhere". SIGH! I was getting myself ready to call the dealer, having them pick up the tractor, spend probably 1500 to 2000 dollars to have them find the issue. At my wits' end I did what I should have done first-searched for "blown starter relay fuse on John Deere 5055e". Because when I did I found your video. I went to the tractor, disconnected the cold start advance sensor, replaced the fuse, turned the key AND IT STARTED! I can't thank you enough, you're the best! Steve in Nova Scotia

Your Scotch Bonnet looked more like a cherry belle hot pepper to me. Big difference. And if you want the buzz from the pepper without burning your guts, blend them up with some plain boiled beans or lentils and it will prevent them from giving you that belly burn.

Thank you! So, the switch needs a strain relief clamp? What awg wire is that? Is it two wires or 3? Like is it 10/2 with ground or 10/3? Aww. The deer was cute! I didn't realize that draining the pressure tank was necessary, so thank you for that info. We once got the kind with the manual override lever and it was too hard to turn. It got stuck and wouldn't let the pump turn on. Ohh. It had to be put in Start first. LOL. No wonder it didn't work when my electrician tried to set it up.
