Today is Slash Quest's release day on Steam! The characters are so goofy in this adorable dungeon crawler. I can't remember the last time I played an indie game where the sword is actually the hero in the story. -hazzie

It's a pleasure to hear Nord's enthusiasm for playing and dying on my games :) With LB and RB, you can also change the zoom level of the Radar. The diver's field of vision increases with the level. When you can't avoid a mine, it's best to RUSH through it. This avoids most of the damage. If you finish the game, don't hesitate to let me know your final opinion. Thanks again! How large is the diver's hitbox? It felt like it was about the size of the groin covering.

@@nordicmonkeymcnerdrage8517 It is a circle centered around the axis of rotation. That is to say just above the level of the belt. Whose diameter is one third of the size of the diver.

Astrologaster suprised me! The soundtrack and voice acting is excellent! Using astrology on patients just seems so archaic but great for comedy.

Second part of Relic Guardian was a ton of fun. Go play it if you like chibi characters and adorable towers! The demo is still up on the Steam page even though the Tower Defense Fest is over.

This game looks adorable! I like the pixel art and how much space there seems to be for towers so early on. The UI seems super easy to navigate. The money and upgrades appear like a little more of a challenge to juggle but manageable from wave to wave. I like that you describe everything going on and your opinions on the systems as you encounter them. 11:25 hehe you have a supporter in me for the punny jokes! 😆

Wow, Kitamarie thank you so much for your in-depth comment. The extra space for towers is nice and really nice for being able to move the towers on the fly when you figure out it's not in the most effective spot! (Later into the game on some of the runs it took me several tries to figure out the best placement depending on enemies because gosh dang it, I just over did it with durian because it's such a fun tower! Imagine lobbing durian at enemeis! 😂) Punny funny for life unite! haha

Nord starts building his base before an attack in Diplomacy Is Not An Option in the campaign in level 2. The game is currently in early access and will be leaving early access in September. If you like the idea of seeing huge waves of armies getting mowed down, then this game might be for you. -hazzie

I found 9 Kings thanks to the Tower Defense Fest happening on Steam until Aug 5th. I had a lot of fun with this demo and I'm glad I played it. Can't wait to play another demo from the TD Fest. This is definitely a game that does not have the most amazing graphics, but it's still a heck of a a lot of fun. -hazzie

Yar! It's time for a pirate adventure in Republic of Pirates. It's in a similar vein as Sid Meier's Pirates! from 2004. It also reminded both me and Nord of Anno 1800 but with more PIRATES! Enjoy our first video as the story begins with a little bit of betrayal. -hazzie

That's a good question since I've not tried to release my yaolings so I logged in to try it out. I can't seem to find a way to release a Yaoling. However, if you have questions about the game they are super helpful on the Discord.

Well, I haven't played Sprout Valley though it's in my library. They use some of the same assets, but I think this game is a bit shorter and I think it maybe on the simpler side. -hazzie

The art style looks adorable! I like how the contrast of the visuals seems like it would make the shmup gameplay easer to pull off precisely. Also agree with you on how turning off the music helps with focus haha. Great video, definitely have a good understanding of the gameplay here.

Cute is a good way to start to get familiarized. Normal has more mechanics. Hard and Lunar of course tacks on even more difficulty. -hazzie

Yes it is. It's co-op through Steam's "Remote Play Together." So we just had one game and invited the second person via Steam. 👍

Nice video, a great idea about listing out favorites from this massive event. Metal Slug Tactics looks great! I hope it's super stable when it comes out. Dustborn looks dynamic too and the combat is wildly unique-looking.
