Leri Espinoza in Asunción is the man !, If you are there again you need to go to restaurant sunset Mary and meet Sheri Bondi, Miss Tortugas Rat town infested with cartel. That hotel on the end of the point is hers . I have good friend there and hope to retire

When I was a boy, maybe about 50 years ago I walked over that bridge or it's predecessor with my parents and that river bed was not concreted in. It was a natural arroyo. There was a community of card board homes along the banks of that little stream. It was their sewer. This was many decades before homeless communities in the USA. It was an education for a boy who thought everyone lived in a house and had a real toilet.

Nice video! I’m finally making the journey to BK next May into June. How were the waves during your time there? And also are there any good longboards to rent other than beginner boards? I’m a well advance longboarder. Mahalo 🤙🏾

Thanks! Ways were great, that break is consistent. The best boards are by the coffee shop, there is also boards for rent on the beach... Those boards are ok. Overall, those are the only two places to get boards.

Been going to Blacks beach since the early 90s. Sad to see the Mushroom House boarded up and all the graffiti! The place has gone down. Too many creeps and disrepectful people. It use to be a family friendly beach. I don't go there much anymore. Too many creeps looking for other things than a nice day at the beach.

We were there in May-June and the homestay would be great for families. There were families staying there while we were there.

That’s an interesting observation. Industrialization did shift the way people lived and worked. Reconnecting with the simpler, hands-on way of life seen in places like Sukhothai can definitely help us find more balance. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I went to the beach ages ago. First time I kept my swim trunks on. Some of the marines from the local military base would get rowdy but everyone else was well behaved. Some guys would stroll the beach looking for beaver shots.
