what an excellent build! i love your videos and editing style! i'd like to challenge you, however.. for the layman like me who doesnt have access to a CNC machine or anything. I'd like to see you build a high quality build like this without using those specialized tools. how would you do it with just an oxy/acyetlene torch?

Mas o cilindro de metal que se liga no cabo e levanta as anilhas realmente precisava ser uma roldana? Não poderia ser ligado diretamente no cilindro de metal que levanta os pesos?

Very nice! I was ramping up to build something like this. Had the design complete and was pricing materials out. Just the weight stack was well over $500. I looked on Facebook marketplace to find a donor weight stack, and found an entire complete machine for $200. So, I went with that.

Bro your channel is exactly what i was looking for breaking down the whole thing and showing the process instead of just the outcome. Im so glad i found you tysm bro. Is there a way you can maybe make a leverage squat machine? Im 14 years old im building a home gym with 2 of my cousing who are around the same age but we cant affoard one so i want to build one out of metal but it would really help if i had guidence. Im thinking of making it also a shrug machine and shoulder press.

Just watched the wooden one he made also just before and now I’m watching this one and it clear to me now he makes em cos he likes to and he sells em for more than the cost of the make with all em ❤.

This build is great, I'm from South Africa, gym equipment is unaffordable in SA. I'm busy building a power cage, but I want to incorporate a cable crossover system into the two front upright tubings. If I only have one weight stack, how much weight am I going to lose to mechanical advantage? How do you calculate the amount of resistance you lose when adding pulleys?

I don't understand how you need heat to bend flat bar or rod 🤔 Glad it all turned out well tho 👍
@teamofone12194 ай бұрын
That’s cool and all but you can get a cheaper lat pull down machine for 160 instead of 200 which would probably work better than the diy build.
@solomonmachine21374 ай бұрын
Not with a stack and doubtful it works better. Was just using my machine yesterday and it’s much better than cheap Chinese wall mounted trolley machines.

Depends heavily where you live. I'd guess that He paid around 100-150$ for the parts and welding supply he used. Also takes 2-3 to build. Buying will most likely be cheaper :)
