the 2.X Quests are really slow and kinda grindy, and I say that as somwone who played after Patch 5.3 where they allready trimmed those Quests down by like 30%, but then you get to "The Parting Glass" and its all worth it. such a wild set of Cutscenes

Crystal Tower is critical to later parts of the story. It is part of the MSQ because it is part of the MSQ later on. So much so that without understanding what happens here, nothing later can happen. It's that important. Foreshadowing, you will see lots of that between now and Endwalker. There are payoffs. Call backs will be many and you will be asking your self 'wait, what was that about again?' later on. That's as much as I can say without spoilers. Good Luck.

@@mikeyboygames Technically Simple and Clean and any song sung by Hikaru Utada isn't fair game... it's not Square's, it's hers... it's just made for and then licensed to be in the Kingdom Hearts games... it's the same reason we didn't see any of those songs in Smash Brothers; if it was just up to Square they would've done it. Since Square doesn't own the rights, it's the same as every other song you could play. No one will report you for it though; it would take someone pretty pathetic to do so even if you were playing something completely outside of Square Enix's wheelhouse.

@@mikeyboygames no one will report it but often the game developer doesn't even own the music in their games as listed on the credits screens Sonic 3 is the most famous one placing that problem on full display when the music for some stages was replaces with earlier iterations because of Micheal Jackson's sound team involvement with the original and Sega not owning music in any of the old Sonic games.
