Hateful comments from Christian proponents of love, that is in my estimation the most egregious position a person could hold.

Only the Wilson brothers took drugs?? Maybe because they had the same father…duh you dumb @$$ (the cousin). I bet you were upset because you were afraid of the band going down and you wouldn’t have a coattail to ride on anymore!!!

If The Cousin would stop suing one of the other members when he’s running low on money, they might get along better. One of the things he sued for was to use the name The Beach Boys while touring (after the breakup). Apparently without the name behind him he has nothing. Well at least he’s right about that!!

I do not know what kind of attitude the mainstream society had towards Iggy back in the early 70s, but based on many of his interviews available YT he seem to have been treated like a darling he was. A sort of admiration. I guess his good looks helped. And... I have a theory on his pop success lately. Well, in the last 25 years really. This is simple demographic. Former college kids who went to his concerts or listened to similar music have grown to be executives, producers, directors and they started to embed Iggy in their work because he formed they whole cultural basis so to speak, core memories. And this is the explanation of this "me and society met hal way". The society is composed now of the people who were receptive to his music in early 70s.

I'm a little curious. If Satan rules hell and he dislikes god and works to thwart him at every turn then wouldn't I as an atheist be an enemy of his enemy and therefore his friend? If I get sent to hell I can imagine Lucifer wandering along and saying "Hey buddy, you're going to love it here. I've got a huge mansion for you and all the staff are knockout gorgeous girls whose only desire is to please you in any way possible. We've got the Raquel Welsh lookalike, the Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeannie, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Beckinsale, Liz Hurley and hundreds of others. Fill your boots son. Doesn't have to be one at a time either if you know what I mean. Just don't go down that road over there. It leads to the torture section for christians and you might find it a scooch offputting."

Many of us look at Death wrong. Instead of what Scripture says about it. All who have ever been conceived are somewhere Earth 🌎, Heaven ✨ Or Hell🔥. When we Die on Earth it's Our physical body that stays and WE GO! (Soul/Spirit).

There is a verse that your caller could rely on (not that I agree with him). Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Good discussion.

I can almost say that Gord’s songs were the background to my life from the first moment I heard his music. The radio was always on in our kitchen and my mother would sing along whilst ironing the laundry. And dance at the same time, something she tried to hide. Our dog actually “sang” along, making doggy noises in time to Mom’s song of the day. My iPod is full of Gord’s music, and he’s my choice of music when things aren’t going well. Gordon Lightfoot is one of Canada’s favourite sons! Miss those new songs, but love him for the ones he made while still on Earth! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦

How on earth do you say "Guess which one you're going to" with a laugh when talking about hell. If you truly believe in hell, you should be constantly weeping for the souls who are being tortured there. If i believed a majority of people who ever lived was right now getting tortured mercilessly, i'd lose my mind
