When you do low reps high sets I like a doug Hepburn routine. You will be able to notice when your form is rubbish because there are such low reps 2/3 you will notice changes in each rep This will then make you better at the moment as you can fix it to get stronger, then when you get stronger you can lower the weight and do higher reps Going back and forth. A few months on low reps high sets to low sets high reps Using a step laoding process

So I can find a ton of videos online about all of these "raise your big toe by itself etc etc" but I can't find a single video that instructs me on HOW to get to this stage when I cannot presently raise my big toe all by itself without toes 2-5 coming along as well. Surely there are therapists who encounter people who can't move their toes independently. What do we do?

My PT told me to manually move the toes with my hands and try to keep them they when I let go. Do the reps like that (manually move them and hold). Then you could hold the little toes down and try to life your big toe and vice versa.
