Oh O, I see skaters from Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland/Columbus, St Louis, West Coast/East Coast and other areas!! Where are my skatlyfe people wearing t-shirts representing the different Rinks around the USA? And Detroit, where is the merchandise to sell to the visitors (313; Detroit vs Everybody; City of the NFL Draft; or even Grand Prix fever/Techno Fest fan?? Give the Guest something to take home!! Too bad I had to work, but next year I'm going to try to get friends from ALL over to come and represent. Check out how the skate parties in Chicago, Atlanta & Ohio cities are done. Fire to see the old & new--with everyone having an amazing time and learning new moves!!

Yes I agree, the party felt a little underwhelming for detroit, on of the main problems for us being from LA, was not being catered to. The djs didn't give the variety to be a "national" skate party and felt very picky choosy on what they wanted to do and play. Trip was decent but been to better. It's also only every 2 years so the next one probably will be 2026

You're gonna hate me for this but you [just] do it. Find out how much force gets you around without overshooting. You can check your motion with your upper but it only goes so far since you can keep on sliding in the direction you started it in.
