This track would've been better if that awesome fuzz guitar was brought in at the second half of the song to give it a lift. As it is, it outstays is welcome by the one-and-a-half-minute mark and gets tiresome. But the vocals are great and it's a really good version of the song. I never knew this was the original until today. Thanks for posting.

The 70s, the most awesome, surreal decade.

Eine großartige Künstlerin! Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich Katja Werker zufällig für mich entdeckt. Mein Neffe rief spontan an, er hatte Karten für eine Matinee Katja`s im Kulturhaus Norden (für Unwissende, liegt in Ostfriesland). Vorab guckte und hörte ich ins Internet hinein, ich kannte Katja Werker nicht bewusst, sicher hatte ich sie mal gehört...aber wie es oft so ist.... Schon an dieser Stelle dachte ich..."boah, was für eine Stimme, wieviel Gefühl, tolle Gitarre". Das Musikerlebnis in Norden war wirklich ein großartiges Erlebnis Im Grunde im kleinen und fast familiären Rahmen, durfte ich als ein Teil des Publikums diesen Auftritt erleben. Um die Musikstücke herum sagte die Künstlerin auch einige Worte und diese, wie auch die Musik, sind authentisch und sehr menschlich. Am Ende habe ich die Möglichkeit genutzt und Katja Werker gedankt, ich sagte das, was dieser Vormittag in mir auslöste,.Ich ging "beseelt" nach Hause...sowas von mir, der grundsätzlich sehr rational unterwegs ist...kann man mal sehen, Mir fiel dann noch auf dem Fußweg zum Auto das Zitat ein: "Kunst ist Kunst und alles Andere ist alles Andere"... und wie schön es war, sich hier mal in "alles Andere" entführen zu lassen. Ich rate jedem, der das hier liest, macht Euch auf die Socken, wenn Ihr die Möglichkeit habt, diese großartige Künstlerin live zu erleben.

Luv these "rare" lesser known 1980s Rock songs. I am going to say, I know I heard this song in the 80s, but I don't remember it. And, because it had some members that were in the band "Boston", just figured, it was a Boston song. Back when some radio stations, would play most music off an album, not just the popular songs. As far as 80s rock, I always like that Early to mid 80s, that just seemed to have the "edge" and "grit" to it. Even if the song was about romance, it still had that "bite". Thanks for posting, DJ Jolly Roger.
