Vinny you guys are insanely underrated, ive been watching all VTR videos I can find on here even rockys videos. after 9+ years this DE is still putting 1000 wheel you guys are VQ wizards, every VQ owner flocks to soho Motorsports (which they are a great shop) but you’re the only other shop I know that has a 4 digit whp de and that’s one of my dreams. I have a few questions, when you said you were stuck at 46, were you referring to making 1067 at 46 psi wastage pressure, Also how did you fix the vq head lift issue? is there a build list on this engine I would love to gather more information and write things down im currently researching a lot of high hp DE builds to find successes and failures and bring about the best information, thanks in advance !

Yup that’s why it’s dead now and nobody makes power and if they do they blow up. Very few 1000s unless they’re blowing up and going through engines and parts too or have billet or who knows what secrets. The guys in Australia who hold the better faster record I believe with the G35 at least said some stuff. Like they used steel or iron cylinder, walls or sleeves crasy as no others I know did and used this. Maybe these guys do too

@@undergroundriptiles7005 yeah I wonder if this Z could hold that 1000 reliably tho, that’s what I want to know. I see so many dyno queen numbers but they end up running low boost on the street. The highway WHP I’ve ever seen on a DE was over 1200+ whp but who knows how long that would last I really wish more people would be open to giving out that information bc I would love seeing vqs pushing 1500+ like drag level, only time I’ve ever seen a vq 2000 hp was on a drag build.

That was the Australian G35 promod and then this guy had the 1500ish 350z promod. Very rarely do you see 1000 plus street builds. I don’t think they last too long even insane builds may not last long I doubt vq do. Drag or street. Since they didn’t want to help the community and kept it hush unlike other communities is what really kept the vq platform down and unable to really grow. Sadly I think it never will be what it could have as it’s too late and Vq community is dying as in mostly the top dawgs. They’re done, fed up and some have moved on or motor swapped or kept power around 800ish and don’t try to go over no more. There will always be the bad vq that made vq look bad but the really ones slowly going as vq is capped and as of now things can change but for now it seems like there’s limits that can be overcome

I followed you for a long time and one night I was at the Red rooster Drive In in Brewster NY which is pretty close to my house and boom there it is was lol you're fucking Supra was on a flatbed. I think you we're getting something done or got something done from Dover or somewhere along the lines and stopped in to get something to eat I don't know if you were actually there I don't remember it was such a long time ago but I do have a picture I'll find it this week I do have it picture of me standing by your car on the flatbed at the Red rooster Drive-In. I'm not sure why I didn't take a picture with you like I said it was such a long time ago I don't remember if you were there or not if you were there I would think that I would come up to you and ask for a pic I've been a fan forever brother
