A centre back,Bakayoko for the right wing replacement of Miggy+if we managed 2 get him it would really improve our forward line and we must get in at least 1 if not 2 strikers as we have no1 top class to replace Isak cause Wilson is a constant sick note. Jonathan David from Lille would be a.fantastic striker to.sign as replacement for Wilson and then get a young up+coming striker frm South America to invest in and grab 4 a bargain would be a good long term purchase n also keep our squad deeper than it is just now because if we qualify 4 Europe next year we have 2 bulk up our squad 4 a long season where every team has 2 rotate regularly or u end up with half ur team injured all the time or suffering frm the 3 games every week for the whole season depending on how far u get in all cup competitions. We defo are light on numbers 4 our squad and light on depth of quality if we want 2 do well in all competitions next season.

Could Milan afford Tonali I doubt it look at how much Tonali celebrated with toon fans after scoring at Southampton that really looks like a guy that’s looking for a move and just a quick reminder to these clubs that want to buy our top players do you remember the Newcastle tax 😜

They cant stand seeing tonali looking great in a Newcastle strip. I just laugh at them to be honest, and the money the board would want for him would send them packing anyway. Ps he strikes me as a very loyal person, so nothing to worry about imho.

I think it's really funny how the outrage over the summer window is soon forgotten. Everyone was kicking off in the summer saying if Mitchell didn't make up for it in January he has to go. Well, January is here and it is yet another abysmal window. But, everyone is quiet now for some reason!

I think we should keep our traps shut about who we might be wanting to sign. Is there any coincidence, that as soon as we express interest in a player, another team goes and picks them up. Even when they don't need them. Is it just to stop Newcastle from improving our roster? Think about it fellas. And ladies!

Real Madrid don't have a pot to piss in. That's why they, and Barcelona, are so desperate to rekindle the super league. They're 3 billion in debt between them, apparently. It's astounding that they're allowed to play in European compeition.

If we sell any of our top players, it might be Bruno because of his age. But I personally want the club to hold up a middle finger to all of these clubs who try to poach the core of our squad now. Isak, Gordon, Bruno, Sandro, Botman... none of them should be leaving.

This "Isak to Arsenal" crap has been going on for months not just during the transfer window. IMO Sky are by far the worst offenders & I don't expect them to stop after the transfer window closes. It's simply lazy punditry as they know it's very, very unlikely that Arsenal would be able to find the £(125 - 150)Million to sign him.

I think Eddie and Mitchell want to keep the core of the team together and Sandro isn't going anywhere BUT Losing Tonali is similar to losing Isak. They're fundamental to the way Newcastle plays, but if someone wants to come in with an era-defining amount of cash for era-defining players, then it makes sense to sell so that the team can turn around and spend like Man City if they want. The business decisions and the football decisions don't need to be at odds if the time horizon is long enough. If the board were to react as emotionally as fans to every transfer or even bad result, the team would get stuck like Man U, leaderless and without a strategy to return to consistent form. Maybe moving one of the stars is in the future, but I sincerely hope Tonali and Isak stay for their whole careers.

The Toon are no longer a club that sells good players. we keep them now and hopefully soon add to that amazing squad, it would have been nice to add a new face in this window but I think we all knew realistically that it wasn't gonna happen, it's a shame we only had the 1 departure could have done with a couple more but let's concentrate on the games ahead.

I always had a feeling Tonali was a buy to make mega bucks in the not so distant future, Newcastle knew about the betting saga and took a bigger gamble than Tonali himself. He's worth at least 3 times what Newcastle paid for him, don't be surprised if he's sold this summer.

@Cumbriamag What I'm struggling to get my head around, NUFC owners have over 700 billion and cannot spend 1% of their money to improve premier league viewing
@JacobBrownCarlson
@JacobBrownCarlson 14 сағат бұрын
@andymcnab2.0 It comes down to the net transfer spends of the last couple seasons and the fact that NUFC don't make as much profit on match days or TV/licensing as a lot of bigger clubs. So, even though they have money in the bank, they're not allowed to spend it how they please in the transfer market. That's why they're doing projects like new training facilities and either rebuilding or moving the stadium, which should improve profitability in the long run. Those can be capitalized expenses that are depreciated over a long time, whereas player salaries and transfers are realized right away and have a much bigger impact on PSR and FFP.
