never wash your bike like this. even residual fingerprints on hot surfaces will become permanent. always let it cool for approximately half an hour, then apply washing soap before washing it with water. by this way the dust and dirt will not scratch shiny parts of it. let the soap melt beneath your bike and now you may wash it with water. but never wash it too close. wash it gently at least 3 feet away from your bike. use dryer for buttons and bolts and then wipe it with clean smooth cloth. if your bike has chain, this process will be different. i wrote this comment for the bikes that have belt on it. have a nice ride

Don't know if it's smart but I've done it a few times on my Sportster and no known problems. I didn't get as close as this guy does with the high pressure spray though, especially into the air filter intake, speedometer, battery area, wheel bearings. I didn't douse the hot pipes too heavy but they were easy to wipe by hand after a light spray. I figured if I could ride my hot bike into the pouring rain while living in Florida, I could do it in a car wash. I did it with the engine running too.

@@alanblanc3817 This is what confuses me when people say oh you cant wash a bike when its warm.... How many people each day ride their bikes for miles in the pouring rain? Isn't that the same thing? lol

Wow, I missed out to see the brushing gantry which normally only does the drying when I was there. Iasked the proprietor if I might film a wash but unfortunately he didn't let me do so. Is there any installation of a M'NEX 28 in Belgium or the Netherlands?
